I’ve enjoyed using the ICC International Chess Correspondence App, but there’s a major flaw that makes playing on mobile frustrating. When moving pieces during a game, the entire screen shifts or slides around with finger movements. This makes it difficult to focus on the board and can lead to misclicks or accidental moves.
I suggest the developers look into how other platforms like Lichess or Chess.com handle this — their boards stay locked in place during gameplay, allowing for smoother, more intuitive touch interaction. Fixing this would greatly improve the playing experience and make the app much more user-friendly for mobile players.

A very well-designed chess app with strong functionality. Fast PvP games, many variations of bots for any kind of difficult and puzzle-based twist. The puzzles add a fresh layer to the experience and make learning and playing more engaging. Smooth, thoughtful, and genuinely fun to use app.

Not a Chess Player… But I’m Hooked
I’m not a regular chess player, but ICC really pulled me in. The daily puzzles, missions, and achievements make it feel fun and rewarding even if you’re not super competitive.

Long live landscape mode!
Stoked that they’ve enabled use of landscape mode again. Makes the experience so much better on iPad, IMO. Puzzle Quest is currently my favourite feature. I play every day in an effort to help keep my mind sharp.

Slick interface
I have been playing on ICC since 1997, and I love how it has evolved, with a new, modern and slick interface. Daily Puzzle and Puzzle Quest are the two chess challenges I like the most.

I use the ICC Chessclub app every day. I particularly enjoy Puzzle Quest and Daily Puzzle. Great app for all levels of play.
