Syzygy Tablebase Review
I am giving Syzygy Tablebase 100% 5 stars because it makes Stockfish 16 stronger than it already is. I have been using Syzygy Tablebase with Stockfish 16 for a few weeks now, and I have seen a significant improvement in Stockfish's endgame play.
Before I was using Syzygy Tablebase, Stockfish would sometimes make mistakes in endgames, especially if the position was complicated. But with Syzygy Tablebase, Stockfish now always knows the correct way to play in endgames, even if the position is very complicated.
I have also noticed that Stockfish 16 with Syzygy Tablebase is more aggressive in endgames. It is more likely to try to win endgames that it would have drawn before, and it is also more likely to win endgames that are drawn under the 50-move rule.

Tablebase Awesomeness
i am carrying around 5 and 6 piece endgame databases! btw, it took me a minute to sort out how to use them so i will share...first you have to have room for the download and expansion...this is a tablebase reality. i think the total load is 5GB...but i may have that wrong. be sure to read, read, read before you download. next, you have to import the data into the small chess app...starting in the tablebase app in settings...it worked for me with zero issues, but ive got the biggest iphone 7 so i cant speak for the other iphone models.
