I want to like this app, but…
So, I bought the $30 yearly subscription and have been playing it for a couple of months.
The problem with this app is that the puzzles are curated by the users and A LOT of the puzzles are bogus.
It’s terribly frustrating to stare at a puzzle that seemingly has no logical solution only to find out AFTER failing it, that lots of other people have already found out that it’s a bogus puzzle.
I’ll play it til my subscription runs out, but I’m not renewing.

Good but serious eye strain
The font on iPad is so small it’s difficult to play more than a few tactics. Would be 5 stars if developer would fix this headache inducing element
CANT DELTE ACCOUNT
There is no way to manually delete your account apart from emailing them, but then they never reply.
Not worth the time
I got the app thinking it would be a good app to improve my tactics. I wasn’t going to get the paid version until I experienced the app a bit. Initially, some of the tactics were good, but as I began to surpass their various tactical strategies I began to encounter impossible moves such as a pawn moving diagonally when their was no piece to capture - just an empty space. One time, it was forgivable, but twice within a couple of tactics and immediately I determined the app was a complete waste of time. Useless, if you truly want to improve.

Not worth of this much price.
There are better app than this for this price. Most topics are repeated less content. Still I was managing then I found this.

Has potential, but hard to navigate
I love the depth of lessons from beginner to advanced. However the lessons aren’t always written well and the app is not too easy to navigate. Improve the UIUX of this app and I might consider download again.
Good, but you need to remove something
The app is good, it sees if you know things in chess, and teaches you things, but one thing. REMOVE THE RATING SYSTEM! ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME FEEL STUPID IF I GET ONE WRONG?!
Forgotten password
I am running is app from more then 10 years and when I change my device and download this app …. I realized that I forgotten the password
When I totally fail to remember my password…. I did mail to my problem to them but the sad part is that they did not reply any of my mail.
May be so many people are facing these type of problem

Enjoyable
Some puzzles should be removed... But most are well done! The App has some glitches.... Over all it is a good way to improve your Chess skills.
Lame
Very limited makes you have to buy pro to really learn much or play very long.
Needs to be free with ads.
Would have rated higher if free with ads at bottom.

I like this app very much. I play it every day. My one complaint is there is a display bug of some sort. Don’t know if it’s the app or my phone.
Most tactics start with your opponent’s move, the piece moving from the starting square highlighted in white with the animated piece sliding to the ending square. Very nice! But not every tactic does that. It is extremely frustrating when it doesn’t and the first move of the solution is to take a pawn I didn’t realize had just moved en passant. There’s zero chance I’d miss it over the board, but I’ve lost a lot of points because of this. (To be fair, I’ve lost more points from playing too fast - but still.)
If not for that, I’d give it all the stars.

Nicely laid out. Would like some kind of trial or lifetime license though.

Lately it can serve you tactics that are either far below or far above your rating. This takes away from it's usefulness and teachability to be honest. Pity.
