Well, I think the app is probably a great site. I ended up taking it off of my phone and I did not put any information into it simply because I had to do a Zoom call which I’ve never done. Then some lady asking me a bunch of personal questions just
seemed kind of fishy to me. Signed up for a child safety kit, not realizing that it was an insurance person. Supposedly this was being distributed by the police.

Excellent App for Parents’ Peace of Mind!
I recently started using the Child Safe Kit app, and I’m really impressed with how simple and useful it is. The app helps parents keep important information about their children organized and easily accessible in case of an emergency. I love that everything is stored securely and that I can update my child’s info and photo anytime.
The interface is very easy to use, and the step-by-step setup makes it stress-free. It’s something every parent should have — you hope you never need it, but it’s great peace of mind knowing you’re prepared just in case.

Scammers alert !
Calling at the 9:00 pm asking personal questions with a 347 number makes no sense.
Not a scam but you will talk with a life insurance agent - a slight rant
So I checked reviews before getting this app and I have no clue why you people are saying it is a scam? The app is indeed a way for Globe Life/ American Income Life to get a foot in your door to sell some insurance but in no way is that a scam. So what if you have to listen to a sales pitch for some insurance. Most of you probably actually need it.
If you are on the fence, just get the app. If your kid really goes missing you will probably panic and this app could be the tool you need to get information to law enforcement.
Also pyramid schemes (I saw someone mention this..) have no products and are supported by continuous recruiting where the recruits pay $xx to “join”. I’m not with globe life but I have been in the life insurance space long enough to know that they ALL operate on a normal business level. If the business had a ton of smaller divisions that also were made up of smaller divisions. Agency building is not necessary but some of us enjoy the process.

Great idea- poor company
I love the idea of this app but find it extremely off putting that an insurance rep trying to sign you up for life insurance is needed to get the kit. New age door to door salesman! I had a salesman (“husband & wife duo”) show up to my house at 9pm- unexpectedly with no prior communication wanting to sell me the insurance for this kit! I’d rather pay $5 for kit in mail!

A front to sell insurance through zoom calls
This app is a front for ‘global life’ to sell you insurance. They don’t teach you how to use a child safety kit at all. An app is not supplemental for the real thing at all (I’m a healthcare professional). Look them up online, all basically bad reviews and people saying the same. Just go to your local precinct or police station and ask for a child safety kit and buy emergency kits online. 2 hours wasted listening to them blab. Also, please dont give this app any info as it will use your data and info.

I got my child safe kit set up a few months back and wanted to share how amazing the experience was. The app is just an added layer just incase my child runs away or goes missing.
An actual agent for life insurance set this up with me and my spouse over a zoom call. Then they always set us up with some additional complementary benefits for one my favorite is the family medical discount membership! Saves us money! Everyone should do this.
I didn’t buy the additional life insurance bc I already have what I want in place but the agent was great at explaining those to me.
