Hi, thanks for the honest feedback and I am sorry the lag and load times have been this frustrating. Refresh speed depends a lot on how your provider serves the playlist, but that is not an excuse, I am actively working on making startup and refresh faster. I have also noted the wish for an upcoming releases section, that is a fair ask. If you send your setup through Settings then Get Help, I will take a look.

Hi, I am sorry it has been this slow on Apple TV, that should not be happening even before you consider changing the player. Live channel load time depends partly on how the provider serves the stream, but I am actively working on making startup faster on tvOS. If you send your setup through Settings then Get Help, I will take a proper look at your case.
lack of features
How hard is to have a section of “upcoming” shows and movies with some basic filters for region and release dates.
