Crashes happen
Generally it's good but crashes happen three times while I'm reading today.
You get what you pay for
It is nice to be able to get this "perspective" for free when I am home instead of only when I am APJ.
Takes quite a while (sometimes not at all) to refresh the new content when available.
There will always be a red one notification at the top right of the icon. If you get rid of it, it will be back ~an hour later. Since it always there, the indication is ineffective.

Great App
Just downloaded this app onto my iPad using iOS 7, and it works great. Good layout, easy to navigate, I like the way the headlines 'grey out' once you've read them. Picture gallery excellent. Saves hunting for a paper version!

It is very helpful to see the real China. Here the main important news happening on Chine will be reported!

This app makes reading China Daily part of my morning routine, whether I'm in Beijing or New York City or anywhere between.

Especially Appealing to International Travelers
The homepage is attention-getting with a wide-range of interesting content including international news coverage. The overall app is attractive. The information is layered effectively on different screens. Information is easy to read. Screens have the right amount of information. The information is relevant to keeping informed and especially appealing to international travelers. I can get information quickly. I would highly recommend this app to a friend or colleague.

If you want a taste of China's propaganda machine, this is what you want to read. Or a chuckle.
I don't really like the layout.
But still a good try compared with the old edtion.

Wonderful app with news, photos and video. I would focus more on local China news for editions read outside of China as USA and world news can be obtained from other sources. Nonetheless, as a frequent visitor to China hungry for more news there, this is a great app and MUCH appreciated!
