i decided to download this app because i wanted learn more chinese and i was about 9 lessons in and it wanted me to pay $13 a month and stopped me from learning any further. i say they could of atleast gave ads every second instead of making people pay for it

I think if they let all of the levels be free and maybe to make money they’d pop in an ad here or there (or maybe that’s a bad idea) but at least let like half of the levels be free.

Не работает, не логинится. Никак. Приложение запускается, да. Но после попытки регистрации или входа возникает неизвестна ошибка

I would’ve rated this five stars but I thought everything was free however I would understand if they made it similar to Duolingo where you can get a pro to get extra perks but the courses it’s self are for free so please make the courses free. However if you don’t mind paying I find this very helpful

Cannot restore purchase (scam)
Used to have the lifetime purchased. App was deleted because I took a long break, and now once redownloaded tells me I have no subscription to be able to restore, but I remember distinctly that it wasn’t a subscription which I purchased some years ago, it was a single purchase.

Chineasy helps by making the characters even more pictographic which helps with understanding and processing them.

Cute design but not much else
I bought this app because of the design, but the more I use it the more I see its flaws.
1. Too many nouns, too few adjectives and verbs: Since this app relies on drawing pictographs to help users memorize the characters, it ends up teaching way more nouns since they’re easier to illustrate. After 100 lessons the learners can barely speak a full sentence, since they mostly learn how to count from 1 to 100, family roles, and abstract concepts like water power and weather, but have no idea how to say “want” or “buy” or “happy” which are first words to learn in any other chinese curriculum.
2. The AI generated story is useless: Only ~20% of the AI story uses the words that have been taught. Learners end up having to look up translation of every word to understand the story, which defeats the purpose of learning how to apply the words in real sentences without looking up the dictionary.
3. No grammar: As this app is just a fancy flashcards for mostly nouns, there is no grammar being taught. The podcast and other units in Explore section also focus on noun-dominant vocabulary.

Neue Reise mit Hindernissen
Es sind jetzt wirklich Jahre vergangen, es heißt auf Anfrage zwar man arbeite daran, aber …..Ich warte seit Jahren auf das Update das die Sprache wieder wählbar macht. Ich habe mit dieser App über 2 Jahre intensiv und voller Freude täglich mindestens 30 Minuten gelernt, manchmal sogar 2 Stunden. Es ist einfach besser wenn beim lernen einer neuen Sprache die Übersetzung in deiner Muttersprache vorhanden ist. Leider ist in der neuen Reise, wie die überarbeitete Version genannt wird, keine Möglichkeit mehr vorhanden deine Sprache zu ändern. Englisch ist die einzige Option.ich spreche relativ gut Englisch, für die meisten Sachen reicht es aber oft muss ich auch erst nachsehen was das Schriftzeichen bedeutet da mir der englische Begriff ganz klar ist. Dadurch wird für mich der Lerneffekt und alles was diese App so einzigartig gemacht hat leider zerstört. Ich hoffe sehr das zeitnah die frühere Option „Sprachen“ wieder im Menü erscheint. Abgesehen davon wird im AppStore geschrieben es wäre in 9 Sprachen. Irgendwie auch nicht korrekt. Update : Oktoiber 2025…noch keine Sprachenoption wählbar. Sehr schade, ich bezweifle das es nochmal dazu kommt. 那真是太可惜了

I really like the apps, but I just dont like every end of lesson need to complete task like a baby, check Word with the sound, or dragging the words. u should make another segment for tasks or excercise
