Doesn’t recognise hardly any barcodes

Rubbish

Pay to use

You have to pay to use this app unlike advertised

Dr. mandated restrictions

Searched for an app to track cholesterol intake via diet. Most apps tracked calories. This app is excellent. Tracking not only cholesterol but saturated fat and sodium. The food database is pretty extensive. Love the bar code scanning functionality. I’ve got 6 months to get things under control. This app is a great way to hold myself accountable and also better scrutinize what I’m ingesting.

Bar code Checker

I wasn’t able to use this feature. I tried to get help but got nowhere just went round in circles.

Appalling

I’ve scanned loads of different foods and none show any cholesterol levels

3 months used

Has helped me keep track of my food cholesterol input. Some foods need to be added and/or not correct total grams. Checking from other internet sources don’t even match so can’t fault Tracker app. Most are in line after checking. Well worth the price of the app, used it for 3 months. Would like more features such as graph for more than 1 month and allow for graph for all inputted data.

One dimensional

It’s decent for tracking 3 nutrients, but you can’t see protein intake, calories or anything else you might want to track as well.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback! We understand you'd like to see more comprehensive nutrition tracking. Our app is specifically focused on tracking cholesterol, sodium, and saturated fat since these are the key nutrients that impact cholesterol levels. While we don't currently track protein, calories, and other nutrients, this focused approach helps our users who are specifically managing their cholesterol levels. However, we appreciate your suggestion about expanding tracking capabilities. If you're looking for more general nutrition tracking, we'd be happy to recommend some alternative apps that might better suit your needs.

UK

I couldn’t download to my IPad and it doesn’t seem to scan UK barcodes.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry you experienced difficulties with the app. For iPad compatibility, our app requires iOS 17 or later to ensure optimal performance. Regarding UK barcodes - while we're continuously expanding our database, we currently focus on major UK brands. If you're using a local or niche brand that isn't recognized, you can manually add the nutritional information. We'd be happy to walk you through this process or assist with updating your iPad's iOS to access our app. Please reach out to our support team at support@copyistai.com for step-by-step guidance.

Useless

Can’t read the bottom half of the description , no instructions on how to use, won’t let you put a dot in between numbers waste of money cancelled.

Waste of money

Not sure where they’re getting their info from but it’s not accurate and especially not for Australian foods. Doesn’t pick up our barcodes to be able to use. For $30/year definitely not worth it.

Misleading in app purchase

I do not care for yearly and monthly subscriptions. I have enough of those. In-App Purchases states a lifetime for $19.99, however, when I downloaded this app. the only in-app purchase options is yearly and monthly options. I am not happy about this.

No option to try before paying

I thought I’d try this but I can’t get any cholesterol info unless I enter it myself manually. And I wanted an app that would tell me what the cholesterol level is- not the other way around! I just get pushed to the upgrade page when I search a food for its cholesterol.
I’m assuming I have to pay the $25 to get the most useful feature and I’m not paying for anything before trying it first! So it’s been deleted.
