It simply doesn’t work
You have to receive an OTP by text message to complete the order. However I never received any OTP or any text message even though I tried more than three times.
Two delayed orders. Bad customer service. Avoid.
First order: Somebody called me to reschedule for next day. When I call next day, I was told my order was delayed because they called me the day before and never reached me. I said impossible because somebody called me and I talked to them on the phone. Then they want to reschedule for next day. And I had to call next day to push them to make my order. I thought this was just one bad experience and would try again. Second order: I make my order and book my delivery for one week out. On delivery day, nobody arrived. I call and send message and email. Get a call in the evening asking to reschedule my order for another 4 days away. Overall, this is a really bad experience using their services. When you add in their extra service fees, it’s more expensive than other services, and they do not have a good system for informing the customer about order status. Why should I call them after the order delivery time they confirmed on their app? Overall, the service is unreliable and they do not take care of their customers.

No customer support ?!
When the app becomes a critical life-line to order food / groceries (when in lockdown) and it tells you that you will be delivered 15 days later, a working in -app customer support would be great. For now, the app is worthless.
Unpleasant experience
Read around and saw recommendation from KOL. Trusted and installed. App did not work either with registration by phone or Facebook. Waited long for support, provided proof but the response was very useless which did not help at all in either explaining the problem or supporting to move forward. Doubt if the info from KOL is paid ads.

Big disappointment
I made an order with Chopp and had been waiting for the packages to be delivered for 3 days. Finally, I got a phone call from Customer Service asking for our apartment number so they could bring the groceries to us.
More than 1 hour later, we phoned them back since we still had not got the food, what we were told was that our order had been completed. But we received no food since the shipper left it with security guys and never gave us any notice.
That means our fresh meat and fish were left downstairs + under the sun for hours. The frozen stuff wasn't frozen anymore. How bad is that?!!
Anyway, we had bad experience with Chopp before but we had to use it again since we had no other choices.

Hi Ms Thi, during the lock down of Ho Chi Minh city due to COVID-19, we've experience a high surge of new orders, and delivery windows have to be pushed back to make sure we can delivery essential goods to customers on a first-come first-server basis. Ripped Off
I was hopeful based on the other good ratings, but it was not the experience I had. Half the items I ordered were not available once the shopper was at the store. Ok, they can’t help that. But then they charged me for an item they didn’t retrieve. Customer service has not been helpful in remedying it. Someone texted my private number a day later without first identifying they were from chop asking when they could pick up payment from me (I had paid in full by card, and they technically still OWE me money). They also advertised free coffee for my first order, so I put it in the cart. I did not receive that either, which isn’t a huge deal, but like... just don’t advertise it if you aren’t going to provide it? Overall, poor selection of goods and awful customer service. I feel ripped off.

Grocery shopping made easy!
As an expat living in Saigon, I find it quite difficult to shop for produce, meat and seafood. I just don't trust the wet market here, esp when vendors try to rip you off knowing that you're a foreigner. That's why I love Chopp! It has all my grocery needs - from fresh produce, personal care items to even household stuff, they've got it all. The best part about it is I get all my groceries delivered to me whenever I want.
