About
Chord Graph shows you how chords relate to each other instead of asking you to memorize it. Pick a key, play a chord, and see where it can go next.
THE VISUALIZER
Eleven views of the same harmony, each one for understanding something different:
• Circle of fifths with four rings and the relationships drawn between them
• Function tree and radial tree
• Diatonic, modal, tonnetz and voicings
• Progressions and modulation, with the routes from one key to another and the technique behind each step
• Playground: build your own progression up to 16 steps, with next-chord suggestions, tempo and looping
All 24 keys, each spelled correctly. Zoom, pan, and note names in letters or solfège.
THE COURSE
90 lessons that run from what a note is all the way to modulation and modes, with piano and fretboard diagrams drawn on screen rather than shipped as images. Every lesson transposes to whatever key you are looking at.
Each one ends in a quiz: you need all three right to complete it, and your best score is kept.
THE TUNER
A chromatic tuner through the microphone, with a gauge and stable detection. Pick your instrument and string, or leave it chromatic. The A4 reference is adjustable.
THE DAILY CHALLENGE
One challenge a day, the same one for everybody. A single daily attempt, plus free practice if you want to keep going. Streak, best streak, history, and a result you can share as an emoji grid, spoiler-free.
LIVE MODE
Plug in a MIDI keyboard and the app follows what you play on the visualizer. Without one, it listens through the microphone.
ALSO
• Works fully offline: there is nothing to download
• Its own audio engine, with piano and plucked string
• Eight languages
• Light and dark themes
