Not A Bad Name
Chord Butter…. sounds about right. I never leave reviews, but I was having truly an awful awful night. The only thing I could think of in the moment was finding an app that can create instrumental so I can sing and channel my hard times through. This app has a beautiful interface, quick loading, super, super super fun chords that make every generation sound very unique, interesting, modern and makes it very fun. The price is pretty good. If I was to leave one recommendation, I would say to add more instrument variations to the generation. Keep up the great work.

Loving this app
This sure beats doom scrolling.
Easy to use
This app has been great, as someone who doesn’t play an instrument, for easily being able to experiment with and swap out chord progressions and melodies. In the free version you can’t save multiple files, just work on whatever is currently open, but you still have most functionality to get a good feel for the app. I would recommend it!

Great! However…
This is truly a great app however you cannot program your own drum patterns or bass patterns. The developer has done a great job with this app despite those limitations. I hope one day we get those functions.

Great app - the lyric syllable counter needs fixing
I find sometimes the syllable count is off. Can you fix it? Also can you add the ability to record audio?
Insane paywall
Has great options… if you pay for it. Its understandable to extent. But to need membership to save? Thats obviously too much. Sorry if money’s tight, but this is the rating that will get you.
Easy and fun
Playing around has been great, making some fun little tunes. Maybe too much fun as I’m meant to be looking for a new job…

Die App macht Spaß, begleitet einen, auch wenn man es bisher nicht so mit Musiktheorie hatte. Zudem hat man schnell einen kleinen Song zusammen und so erste Erfolge. Ich nutze es hauptsächlich um unterwegs oder Abends auf dem Sofa noch ein bisschen mit den Akkorden zu spielen und zu schauen, was gut klingt. Midi dann exportieren. Den Rest mache ich dann in der DAW am Mac.

Surprisingly good
To be honest, this app kinda has everything you need to create a song idea on your phone really quickly. I find the interface super intuitive. The only thing preventing me from getting the full version is the fact that I can’t record vocal ideas over the track idea. Still a five star app

Life changing app
This has been one of the biggest breakthrough apps I’ve ever encountered for composing. It is highly intuitive and has provided me with the best tool for my style of composing to get my work done. Superb.
Don’t make an app free if its not free, especially if theres nothing to offer
Ive seen countless ads of this app all over my instagram feed and it looked interesting enough so I decided to give it a go. First things first, hate that this app asks questions about me. I do not like being apart of data farming and I just want to use the app that I downloaded. Second, a subscription model? really??? for chords???? that I can google??? Now I understand as a developer wanting to be paid and a subscription model is more consistent income but I downloaded this app because it was free. If you worked hard on the app and you want money from this CHARGE FOR IT UPFRONT. You dont charge upfront because there is 0 value in this app. This app WILL NOT improve your songwriting unless you have no idea how to write music. This app WILL NOT help you play your instrument better. This app plays chords and THATS IT. If you are currently a songwriter or are semi proficient in your instrument of choice this app genuinely will do nothing but slow progress and make it harder to write music without this. This app is not worth $70 when garage band has this same feature in its piano section. Now can I arrange it in gb? No but i can read which chords there are and play them or put them in my daw. If this app was 99¢? f it I would probably have this and use it every now and then when I have beat block but $70? or a subscription? you are out of your mind man. If you are thinking about getting this app, save your money and buy FL for $130 more, matter of fact download the free trial. you will learn more from that than this will ever give you.

Whether that's useful depends entirely on where you are in your journey, and it sounds like it might not be the right fit for your use case — totally valid. The onboarding questions are there to personalize the experience — no data farming, just context. But I'll take the feedback on making that clearer. Hope you find what works for you.
Lost work, please create backup
I like this program quite a bit but would really appreciate a backup system. I do hope that can be implemented. Thank you. It has helped me a great deal with structure and harmony.
Great song writing tool
This app has an excellent design. Makes it easy to capture musical ideas and iterate. Provides just enough music theory guard rails and subtle feedback to help you get that right without having to think much about it.
