My Team

Good to Watch.

Location tracking sucks

It shows me as ‘out of the viewing area’ when I’m literally in Chicago. If I can’t watch thru the app, MLB.tv is blacked out. In other words, I can’t legally watch the game when I’m not at home. Ridiculous when I’m paying $20 a month for this

Broken

App breaks, casting sucks, audio sounds terrible, and it straight up doesn’t work on Samsung

Trash

Your app constantly freezes on different devices. This is the only app I have a problem with. You should be embarrassed to charge people for this garbage.

Disappointing

I have been using (and paying) for this app since the Sox made the unfortunate decision to put the games behind a paywall. The app is not user friendly. Sometimes you have to back out of app multiple times to even see the current game as an option. The latest issue is multiple times a game, when commercials start the spinning circle pops up and once again you need to back out of app. Unacceptable for an app we are paying for. If I weren’t such a big Sox fan I would have canceled this app a long time ago. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Bad

Slow, annoying notifications, sad.

Terrible

The app is terrible and doesn’t work very well. The most frustrating thing is that when you click on the video to watch it and hit live it doesn’t go to live most of the time so you’re stuck in the middle of the game. The buttons simply do not work. You’d think that charging $20/month to watch a game or two a day would give them money to hire proper software engineers.

Ok, but what can I do. I’m stuck with this app to watch the Sox.

Always slow to load, and sometimes doesn’t load at all. My other apps are fine, so it isn’t my internet. Finally, connects after 2-3 tries, but then can disconnect, and I have to reload it. Again, I don’t drop other apps. Monthly subscription, but still can’t get a game because it’s national and they have a lot commentary on the side during a game that I don’t care about. Just show the game. Total BS, but here I am paying a monthly subscription so I can see my team. I hate the current climate we’re in about watching sports. Can have 3 apps and still can’t follow/watch every game.

Finally

They finally fixed it to work in horizontal mode on iPads. Bravo. It is now usable.

Ridiculous

I don’t know why I have to keep turning my app and logging on logging off logging on. I’ve talked to some of your people then to make the full screen press enter I wanna see the whole screen with the baseball game on it. Why would you make somebody have to do that? Just put the whole goddamn game on and then like I said, I turned it on and it’s freeze that a game from a week ago it’s crazy. You know you need to come here again and experience this terrible app White Sox fan just went up to Toronto 67 years old. I wouldn’t miss a game but this app sucks in a lot of ways and I hate to say that when it comes to my White Sox I can’t even think of what’s going on now like when I said I wanna rewind a few 10 seconds and then to try to go back to resume life. It never works then it’ll go right back to start from the beginning start from the beginning. it’s a joke.

Access Anywhere

I love the this app. I can access it from my TVs at home, my iPhone, my iPad and PC’s anywhere.

Oh wow

So good stop asking me to write a review now

Charity baseball

Several weeks ago I donated to the white Sox charity. I received a signed baseball but I have no idea who signed. Is there any way you can help me?

Constant Buffering

I have to force close and restart the app nearly 5 times a game. This only happens during live games. It buffers and stalls. This does not happen with any of my other live streaming apps. Not happy paying a high monthly fee for a less than solid app.

Glad to watch the sox, but the app has problems.

UPDATE 2: back down to 2 stars. The iPad app is so quiet that I am two feet away and at max volume I can’t hear it. Also, I was watching a game yesterday a bit behind because I was busy, and the app died in the 8th and the replay wasn’t available. Umm why? This happens a lot, it will sometimes take 5+ hours after a game to get the replay up, when 90 min later I can watch it on the mlb app (which is where I finished last night’s game). Why is the replay not available immediately, especially when I was already actively watching it?

UPDATE: I found if I hit “start from beginning” on the iPad (NOT play live), it will keep the landscape mode! Even if I am only a minute behind. Bumping to 4 stars because I am a genius and they are getting some after glow.

I have an iPhone 16 and the video frequently freezes for a second, making watching a game frustrating. I have an iPad a16 and Chsn will not, under any circumstances, allow me to full screen in landscape mode. I have tried locking the screen in landscape, and the video will briefly fill the screen before forcing it always back to a small video in portrait mode. Extremely frustrating. Pip will work in landscape, but no full screen attempt will allow it.

I also have issues with the Roku app. There’s no option to hide the scores in Roku, and there’s no way to start a game from the beginning the way there is on iPhone and iPad. Frankly, not a single way I try to watch games is great.

Still, I don’t have cable and it’s nice to watch the games, even if the process is frustrating every time.

Come on, fix this

App will not go into landscape mode on iPad, remains stuck in portrait. Give me a break. How can this not be fixed immediately? This is literally the only thing I want the app to do on iPad besides play the stream. It’s also so glitchy and slow. At times, I can find the current Sox game or replay from earlier

Dece

Mostly good. Will not go into landscape mode on my iPad (most recent software, have added and removed app multiple times). Starting the broadcast is cumbersome.

Worst app in sports

Terrible app

No customer service # only email address

Hope you don’t have an issue because your only option is to email the company and hope for a response. Very frustrating if you require an immediate response. Also why would you remove the antenna channel from Chicagoan’s I hate that I cannot watch my hometown team for free . In the city I live in Chicago
