This sets up quick. Has easy pre selection for meats. Reliable for temp. It’s BLUETOOTH folks!
This suits me fine. Never drops as I am in my house when I smoke/grill.

Must stay in app
Annoying that you have to have the app open and active on your phone in order for it to work or you get alerts that your phone has disconnected and it won’t continue to track your temperature progress. Which means I can’t do anything else on my phone when I’m smoking and have to set my Lock Screen to “never”. It’s very annoying. If not for this it would be a 5-star app.

Notifications and alarms barely work
Needs updated to work on iOS 16. Still works on iOS 12. On iOS 16, alarms do not trigger unless your phone is left unlocked and the app is open.
