App access is poor
I got this to work once initially. Then said I didn’t have thermometer registered the second time. Won’t let me login now. Won’t send me a verification code to fix password or register a new account! Developers on this are horrible and inaccessible!
After playing with it for almost 30 minutes for like the 3rd time I finally got it to send a message to my spam folder with the verification code and got it set up, yet again. We’ll see if it keeps working. I would NOT recommend these thermometers because the only way to set them is in the app, the base station is very poorly designed and has NO control. You should at least have basic temperature control settings!

App is ok. Works but needs improvement
App works ok. It has an ok amount of food in the app you can setup to cook. But none of the presets take food thickness in account which is very important.

What’s with all the hate?
Maybe this used to be a junky app, but I just installed and used it with the Fitflavor set and it worked pretty flawlessly. Slight hiccup where it didn’t connect our WiFi to the Fitflavor on first try, but cancelling and holding my phone next to the unit seemed to correct whatever was going on—it connected right away. Now I can be rooms or miles away and the app will tell me what’s going on with the probes. The alarms were simple to set and the beef guidelines (with pictures) were easy to understand. All this with a free app and relatively cheap probe set and I honestly can’t complain. And my sirloin tip roast yesterday turned out perfectly medium rare. Two thumbs up!

Terrible Design
The reviews are right. The design is awful. It won’t trigger the iPhone Password app so I went into the password app to manually create the login. This app doesn’t let you paste into the password field. I use a password manager for everything. This app won’t let me, I won’t use it.
