What’s needed is the ability for a picture of a member to enlarge when clicked on so that we can actually see the person.
Unstable
When it works ChurchSuite is really good. But it frequently freezes and the only option seems to be delete and reinstall. Not reliable.
PIN feature is impractical
I don’t understand why I need FBI-level security to access a church group rota. Totally unnecessary. So many times I’ve been locked out of this app because it won’t let me in for whatever reason. I’m recommending to my group to use an alternative, purely because of this mandatory PIN lock.
Usually great but last update is really annoying
The latest update for some reason won’t keep me logged in. Every time I load the app I have to swipe through the preview of the features of the app and then have to re-register my account every time. Which is really irritating. Once in the functionality is great but the next update really needs to fix that!

Upgrade confusion
I had no idea this 4.0.x upgrade was happening and was utterly confused when everything was different! Perhaps you could have put in a description for all users on first entry - not just a tutorial for new users!

Good app…
But like others have mentioned in other reviews, the pin lock should definitely be an optional feature. Most phones are locked anyway, seems a bit pointless to have to unlock my phone then unlock the app as well; it seems like a needless hurdle to go through.
Good for church
Our church has been using this app for over 3 years and it works really well.
Crashing when a search query is made
Unable to handle any search queries hope this will be fixed soon in the mobile app.

Awful app lacking with poor intuitive functionality
This app drives me mad as a “punter”. The menu system lacks functionality and a lot of features (such as removing oneself from rotas, ability to view orders of service etc) are restricted to administrators. For the occasional user life was much easier with simpler IT/database solutions.
Really Useful App
Great app for being able to access ChurchSuite through my mobile phone easily. It’s user friendly and works pretty reliably.
It would be really helpful to change the PIN frequency so that I could leave the app and return without needing to enter it again. It would also be great if locking my phone or getting a phone call etc. didn’t close what I was working on. For example, if I’m inputting attendance for a children’s session and get a phone call, it closes what I’m working on and I have to start all over again

Works on iPhone, not on iPad
Works fine on my iPhone 8, but whenever I try to use it on my iPad Pro (10.5”) it just crashes as soon as the ‘Set PIN’ screen comes up. It’s been doing it for weeks, and it’s completely unusable on iPad as a result. Both devices are on the latest version of iOS/iPad OS 13.
Would be great if it didn’t keep crashing
Fundamentally a great app, but have found you need a REALLY strong WiFi connection to use it successfully. Which is fine at home but invariably if I want to check my rota or find the phone number of a church member while out of my house I get the pulsing blue dot.... which is not so great at all!
Not much good
Was working fine until yesterday evening (on iPad mini 5 latest version with an A12 chip) but now I can’t access the bookings calendar or do much else with it, can just about use with my phone, but its like looking through a letter box, so I’ll have to now sign in through my browser every time.
So many bugs
This is infuriating to use on phone or laptop. Selections don’t stick, they just drop, when setting a rota at least 30% of the selections I make I have to repeat. Additionally adding a member to a date pulls from the whole database rather than the member list.
New pin doesn’t work...
The setup page for the pin does not come up long enough to enter a pin. It defaults rather to the logon page & I cant log in...so the update has made this app unusable. Sad really as it’s a great app. Please fix! Thanks
New pin function
I can see the need for a pin function but it should definitely be an optional feature/you should be able to disable it. It makes the app much harder to use when going between apps... (all that aside, great app)

Would be better if there is notification so we won’t miss any communications or events

Never crashed on me nor our members
We bought subscriptions for our church and it’s never crashed on any of our members. We have put 18 members/volunteers and staff on it so far and it’s so good.
