What's New in CineLog

1.5.2

September 5, 2026

Our most polished update yet: a redesigned phone experience and hundreds of refinements. A REDESIGNED PHONE EXPERIENCE Shot list rows are rebuilt: status, shot number and type on one line, your configured columns on the next, a bigger previs, and up to two lines of description. Rows adapt their height to their content. Banners can be added, edited, recolored and deleted right from your phone. Cast & Crew opens the full roster picker. The schedule reads like a board: day headers carry column captions, and every scene line shows INT/EXT, location and time of day, all editable with a tap. A storyboard shot opens as one fully editable card. And writing dialogue flows: press Return once to continue the speech, twice to start a new element. YOUR COLORS, YOUR THEME Every color picker offers three strengths of each hue, and scene rows and banners have default colors you can change per project. Your theme choice is saved to your account, new installs follow your system setting, and the menu has a one-tap switch to the opposite mode. CALL SHEETS Pick your production company from a clean list, or work without one. The weather card shows the full forecast: day and night, precipitation, wind with gusts, UV, and sun and moon times, in your 12 or 24 hour format. Talent rows show character names next to cast numbers, and your margins apply to every export, including the sheets you send by email. MEDIA Attach one image to as many shots as you like and manage it from one place. Every shot's media screen has two tabs, its own files and the project library. Photos from your photo library upload at full quality, and a tap opens any image fullscreen. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE - Every PDF carries an export date and time stamp. - Storyboard exports fit two rows of panels per page. - Shot numbers with double letters sort correctly, 1A through 1Z and then 1AA. - New users get a quick four-question start. - The profile picture editor lets you crop, and later re-crop, from your original photo. Plus a long list of bug fixes and stability improvements throughout the app.

Super Useful

Great interface. I dig it.

Cinelog Saves Lives

After using Cinelog on a recent commercial, our production team decided to implement it onto our feature film set. Every department was easily onboarded and being able to upload previs and our shots kept us moving.

Game Changer, don’t Start Production Without it!

I stumbled onto this app and gave it a shot, and it's completely changed how my team and I approach pre-production. Scripting, shot lists, storyboards, cast, crew, call sheets — it's all in one ecosystem, which makes team collaboration seamless and transitions us right into the production stage without missing a beat. It's clear this app was built for the film industry by people who actually work in it.
