We can’t even reach to any customer care , do t even know if they had any, tried booking tickets amount got deducted twice but tickets not confirmed nor the amount has been credited back irony is do t even know where to complain even with help option in the app which is useless , it just give some mail id which does t solve any query

Absolutely terrible experience with the Cinepolis app.
The app failed to do the one job it’s built for — booking movie tickets. I selected my seats, paid through CCAvenue, and even received a successful payment confirmation from the gateway. But from Cinepolis? Absolutely nothing.
No confirmation, no message, no email — not even a failed transaction alert. They don’t even have pending transaction in their transaction history.
Just silence.
I was left in the dark, uncertain whether the tickets were booked or my money was lost. After wasting time waiting and hoping, I had to chase down the issue myself and raise a complaint with CCAvenue, who thankfully issued a refund.
This isn’t just bad UX — it’s negligence. An app that can’t confirm bookings after taking payments has no business being live.

Charging huge Convenience Fee
This App is charging huge convenience fee and its GST on top of the movie ticket price. If thats the case, why cant we book tickets through common aggregators like BookMyShow and Paytm?
We are using cinepolis own app for cinepolis own theatres. They should refrain from charging convenience fee as long as they are final the service provider company. They should charge convenience fee from their franchisee owners like movie theatres not user.

Can i give 0 Star ?
I’ve had the worst experience with this app the last three times I tried booking a movie. Each time, they deducted the money, but the booking got canceled. If you try to book again, the prices go up, and the seat you originally selected is no longer available.
Booking Ticket is a horrible experience
I have tried booking a Ticket and the amount was deducted from my account. I got the confirmation mail from CINEPOLIS that my order is successful and I have earned rewards points as well for the transaction but still my ticket was not booked and now there is no way that I can contact them for the refund except for a mail I’d. Great work CINEPOLIS.

User experience can be improved
The interface is filled with bugs. I'm required to enter my city on every app launch and the detect location button also doesn't work.

The app is not working for the whole day and no one is even bothered to get it fixed. After using this app now I know why BMS has no competition.

Worst!
I had the most worst experience using this app. It doesn’t add allow you to login with OTP until you sign up for it. And once I signed up and started booking the tickets, it’s forcing me to add the F & B. I was unable to skip the step and proceed to payment. Like everything is forceful-signing up, ordering something F & B. Looks like everything is mandatory to proceed to the payment. Deleted the app in less than 30 minutes after installation. Am I gonna install it again? Nah never !

Apps crashed when user switch between apps
I have installed the mobile application on my ios devices and I tried the registration prices but during this for otp verification I switched between my message and mail apps and switched back to cinepolis app to enter otp but as soon I entered the otp or kept idle app started crashing. This happened for my multiple time and am unable to register the app. So uninstalled the app and don’t want to use it anymore

Amazing application for movie booking
I have used this application for booking my movie tickets and had an amazing experience using this application. When it comes to book the tickets precisely for the cinepolis theatres go for this application it has an user friendly UI and great features.
Beware before paying
They are absolutely terrible. They do not allow any cancellations or rescheduling. I understand that you cannot cancel at last minute. However some avenue and window has to be provided for genuine mistakes. Even Swiggy and Zomato where food is involved allow a 1 minute cancellation window. They claim this limitation is due to government regulation. However most other cinemas at least allow you to reschedule with some limits around it (such as specific hours/ days before show). And support is terrible. No one will pick the phone at any numbers listed in their App or Website. And the email addresses listed on both their App and website give a bounce back. Forget any kind of chat support in the App. Remember once your money is deducted it's gone. If everything goes perfectly in the booking process well and good. Else you have lost your money. Even airlines will do something like giving credits for future ticket purchases for cancellation of non refundable tickets due to genuine reasons. But not these people. The poor quality of the App is not surprising. Imagine a company that treats customers so poorly, how they must be treating their employees. No wonder these demotivated employees produce such a terrible App.

Lot of issues
This application is Not able to even show my profile at all , not able to book because it keeps on closing as soon as i click on selected seats, not able to see any images of the movie that i want to book . Its totally disgusting when you don't have a proper interface , why do you have this app in the first place ? I will rather use BookmyShow app than this stupid app.

Needs a lot of improvement
There’s no option to pay via card/netbanking. The only options are cashless, club Cinépolis and pay now (this doesn’t work. Gives error always). There’s no option to pay via Cinépolis points and Card both together. Fix this app asap.
Hopeless App
One of the most hopeless app I have come across. Most of the time it throws error “no seats available “. But one can book the same tickets through BookMyShow with additional prices as they take internet charges. I think Cinépolis and BookMyShow are hand in gloves and they share the extra charges they dig from movie goers. Surprisingly Cinepolis website is also the same.

Horrible app, horrible brand!
I got a message saying you have x points as part of some club loyalty membership, go to this link for redeeming them for a movie ticket. The link doesn’t let me sign up. Then I downloaded the app and then I find a loyalty section finally. I put my number in that and it says your number is invalid. Crazy people. Wasted 20 mins of my time.

Tickets not issued
This is now regular feature that purchased tickets are not issued. They do deduct the money from payment accounts, then no tickets.

Worst ticket booking app
Have tried booking ticket in this app for last 4 months and never was able to book a ticket. Was deducted amount from bank like 8 times till date but never confirmed a ticket and the refund happens after 45 days. Please remove this app from the AppStore when you have no support even to test if the app is working or not..

THE MOST WORST APP IN HISTORY AND PRESENT
I have always been very generous while reviewing any app here. But this really is THE WORST APP I HAVE EVER USED EVER.
They cheated me of 375 INR by deducting the money from my bank but not giving the tickets. No customer support they have. On facebook they say that their team is investigating into the issue for the last 7 months, as if its such a complex case to resolve. To my bank they claim it as a valid transaction. I am going to consumer forum to lodge a complaint against them. Utterly frustrated.

Pathetic app
Only if i could 0 star to this app i would have. This is the worst online service i have ever come across. i booked my tickets but they were not confirmed inspite of my amount being debited. Its been like 10 days and still no action has been taken to refund that. oh and their customer care number is invalid. Wow! why do you people even have this app

Worst app I’ve ever used
Unable to redeem my club points, I’ve been trying from a month, everytime it throws an error, but never confirms the tickets, it never allow me to go through Payment page, it says my mobile number is invalid. If my mobile number is invalid, how am I getting sms about club points. This is ridiculous.
