Basic Banking Perfection
I love CIB … They are the antiestablishment 1979 throwback just bank that’s focused on being a community bank. They do it well, they don’t nickel and dime me for things I don’t want or need. They don’t charge me atm fees.
They are incredibly comparable to the BIG “BAD” MEGA BANKS on interest rates for money market funds and certificates of deposit.
They’re also competitive on loans and mortgages, sometimes they beat credit unions interest rates for some loan products.
Mostly I love them because you’re never more than 2 phone menus from a human and I’ve never stood in line for more than 5 minutes or wasted an afternoon stuck in a drive thru waiting.
As for the app, does everything you need a mobile banking app to do. Card management, transfers, virtual deposits, ACH, ETF, and automatic scheduled payments, fraud detection and advanced security options.
It’s a clean simple design puts most information and functionality is now more than 3 clicks away. And swiping isn’t even a thing.. oldsters like me and those of us who don’t have ADHD definitely appreciate that.
They are an outstanding bank and the level of service and support are so 20th century you’ll wonder why things in the 21st century have to be so complicated.
