Goid customer service

After I bought tour through Booking.com the link wouldn’t work, so I reviewed negatively. Developer emailed me to apologize, saying sometimes reseller links don’t work. Developer restored my tour access and gave me a credit for another. Pleasantly surprised and pleased. Haven’t tried to see if it works (I’m in a different city now but will return), so am holding back on a fifth star until I’m sure. But good service in any case.

Response from developer

We’re sorry the link did not work. Booking.com is a reseller and, unfortunately, the original access link we send can be changed on their platform, which may cause it to fail. Please contact us directly at [info@cityapptour.com](mailto:info@cityapptour.com) and we’ll make sure you receive access to your tour.

Buggy launch of new app.

Many issues, not fixed within the first week of contacting the help desk. Asking for all money back and credits for the future. This ruined experience for my in-laws. Also, two days validity of purchased segments only is a deterrent to check if it works until it is too late.

Response from developer

We’re sorry for the issues during our app launch. Some bugs occurred in the first week, but have since been fixed. We offered both a full refund and extra credits. The two-day validity mentioned is incorrect: purchased tours and credits remain valid indefinitely.

Didn’t work

Bought a tour through Booking.com (affiliate site). Email link to get content didn’t work. Nor do the “contact us” support links in the app or on the City App Tour website. Waste of money.
