i dont usually rate apps but i dont drive so if im going anywhere this is the first app i check, it's timings are usually accurate to the minute, you can track your busses and such, it plans routes across all types of transport and is very easily customisable, never puts huge ads in your face or asks you to sign in/pay for premium. it's an all around great app and one of my top 5 essentials for sure

What happened to Citymapper London?
Used to be my go to but lately all journeys are the longer versions and indirect? A journey that is 40 mins becomes 60+ mins? Even friends have stopped using it doesn’t suggest the quickest routes anymore? Oh well, nice whilst it lasted. I need an alternative 🤔

Citymapper has been a lifesaver!!
Navigating through NYC subway system was a breeze with this app! Highly recommend it for any traveller. Loved how it provided walking and subway directions. Very accurate arrival times and even gives suggestions on the least crowded train car!

This is the best App I have found for navigating Paris
Time estimation not updated for Japan
Changing stations takes MUCH more time than Citymapper is aware and it does not calculate the best route. It severely underestimates Japan travel time and transfers.

I wish I had discovered this app on my first day in New York! After struggling for four days to navigate the city, this app completely changed my experience.
It shows you all the transportation options, gives you accurate times, and guides you step by step throughout your journey. But my absolute favorite feature is that it even tells you which subway exit to take—something incredibly helpful in NYC, where choosing the wrong exit can leave you several blocks away or completely disoriented!
With only two days left in my trip, I finally feel like I can move around New York with confidence. 😅 If you’re visiting NYC, download this app before you arrive. You will thank yourself later!

More Glitches versus when used previously
I have always been a huge fan of city mapper. However, suing our time in London I had a number of glitches and had to restart the app. The app was up to date and my phone is new.
