Drop offs
This app takes a while to connect. You have to go through multiple steps in order to get to the radio, then it’s constantly cutting in and out or cutting out altogether, forcing you to constantly reconnect. Sometimes it feels like you’re better off just turning on a radio (if you still have one) instead of the app.

Poor Advice-update to new version…😕
Unable to play the”City News” app as it was telling me to UPDATE to the “new version”. Needless to say as old version was inoperable, I tried to UPDATE to the new version and to my surprise I got a message telling me my phone was to old and I would have to download the old version.😳 Guess what? Nowhere could I find an “old version” to download. 😡

Just tried the app, listening to the radio and breakfast challenge works for me. So far it’s a good experience.
Please increase app volume
I like this app. I just find it very low in volume. If you could make it significantly louder that would be great!

Slow to update new stories. News “reporters” sometimes poor at grammar. Send Brandon Choghri back to school. Perhaps they rely on AI too much?

This app keeps bugging out. When trying to contact someone via the app, it keeps flashing and won’t let me enter details.

Not good for live news
The Calgary news is not updated on weekends. It’s blatantly obvious. Not sure if it is an issue with every city, but the trans Canada Highway was literally closed today going through a national park and into another province, and there was no story about it. It has been eight hours now, the highway is still not open, and there’s still no story about it in the Calgary news. When I tried to notify the editor in the app, it just vibrated and shook, and it was not possible to submit a report.
Pretty lousy news app that has no updates over Saturday and Sundays. I guess there is never any news on those days.

Player and news bulletins work great but can’t enter Weather Guarantee contest.

HELP!!!! We have an older iPad running iOS 12.5.7. Our iPad does not allow iOS upgrade.

Also, can you make the app continue to play the audio in the background even after we exit from it? That way, we can run other apps and continue to listen to 680. (to stop the 680 audio, we go back to the 680 app and press Stop)

What has happened to this app? There are almost no news stories for world and business anymore.
Too many ads
This radio station is almost all advertising,, and like a broken record , every ten to fifteen minutes, goes back to the beginning.
Same Bugs, No Fix
My issue with the CityNews site is that for some reason the app always wants to re-set to top-of-page no matter what item I’m reading. Sometimes I’ll just be scrolling down an article and I’m sent back to the beginning. More than one feedback submitted but ongoing for a year easy so deleted the app. Problem solved!!
