What's New in CivBites

1.0.8

September 29, 2026

Fixes in this update: • Every em dash in the lesson, chapter and quiz content is rewritten as a comma, colon, period or parentheses. No fact, date, name or quotation changed. • At the largest accessibility text sizes, the "Back to chapter" and "Unlock next chapter" buttons at the end of a lesson could sit off screen. The lesson now scrolls independently of those buttons, so they stay reachable at any text size. • VoiceOver no longer announces decorative icons by name next to text that already says the same thing. • Android's screen reader can now read the three lesson diagrams (the branches of government, the checks between them, the federal layers) by their aria-label.
