Most wonderful Recipe Resource
I wish I had discovered this app sooner. It's just wonderful to be able to delve into one of the largest library of cook books with an amazing search facility. I now use it daily for authentic recipes from some of our greatest professional chefs.

Impressive and different
This app has progressed tremendously since I first subscribed and now offers an impressive selection of books, covering just about anything you might need to know in the kitchen. This is backed up with a selection of email updates, which can be opted into or out of, that offer tempting selections to keep your cookery challenges interesting. Keep it up.

Access to the best cookbooks written by actual people
This is a fantastic app for exploring recipes from cooks of every style and background. It pulls together the best ideas from a huge range of cookbooks, showing how the same dishes can be made in many different ways. Although access to some big-name authors requires an up-charge, the real treasure is the vast collection of free content, including professional recipes, historical dishes, and countless interpretations of in between. I’m not sure how many years I’ve had this app, again though I would like to thank Matt, and staff for your efforts in keeping this app fresh and interesting. I don’t even know I think Matt is the main dude but I don’t know.

Best Tool for the Avid Home Chef
I’ve been using CKBK for a few months now, and it has transformed my weekly meal routine. I usually enjoy picking a country each week and selecting several dishes from that country to learn and explore the culture of the region. CKBK has allowed me to do this much easier and find recipes I can’t find anywhere else.
I strongly recommend that any chef who loves to learn about culture through cuisine subscribe so that they can enjoy what I have!

Amazing Resource
This gives you access to hundreds, maybe thousands of cookbooks and you can search all the recipes by ingredient, cuisine, even special diets like vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten free. I hate cooking from a screen and can even print a single recipe and can create an on-line collection of my favorite recipes or whole cookbooks. From classics to self-published, new and old.

Not all books are available with recipe
I was able to find the book to learn that in the country I reside not all recipes are available for viewing.
I requested a refund because I don’t think I should pay for something that doesn’t make all information available. Well the customer service wasn’t as pleasant. So be careful.

Brilliant app
If you’re anything like me and enjoy flicking through recipe books for inspiration - this app is perfect, with a huge repository of cookbooks from a wide variety of cuisines.

To have access to so many curated and well written recipes is indispensable. Easy to use and great for the curious cook.
Outstanding but
I donated 8 cartons of precious cookbooks to our local Hospice as a means of downsizing of our stuff and was so pleased to find many of my books here on ckbk. My only negative is the app keeps crashing when I’m looking at recipes or searching for recipes
Nothing beats
I use the app CKBK every week to test new recipes, learn high-quality cooking techniques and prepare new dishes at home. It’s a fantastic app for improving my skills and spending my culinary knowledge.
Over charged
I was recommended this app and was delighted when I found it was on offer for one year it was £19.99 so went ahead and subscribed. But unfortunately they charged me full price at £39.99, I have emailed and no response! Decent enough rage of recipes on here although googles free and I could’ve just used that!

Scam
Very limited selection of books. The user interface makes navigating the limited selection of books incredibly hard. When I went to cancel my subscription, the link to cancel does nothing. I clicked on the “contact us” link and it crashes the app. When you try to log in on the web it just takes you back to the app. Not sure if it is on purpose so you can’t cancel or if it was programmed by 8 year olds. Either way stay far far away from this garbage

UPDATE - once again, we apologize for the crash you experienced when clicking the Contact Us link. This was caused by a software version compatibility, which has now been resolved. If you download version 1.8.12 the Contact Us page works as expected. The temporary issue with app store subscription management is also now fixed. Again, sorry that you ran into problems. The best website
I love this website. I found it quite a few years ago when I was looking for old recipes by Robert Carrier. It’s wonderful all the old chefs of my era 70s plus and modern chefs as well. Use all the time.
