Not a very friendly app
I have had the app for about 6 months, unfortunately I loose connection to history of videos on my doorbells. Then I have to remove the app, then reinstall and hope it all talks again. Also it will not let you set your zones in the app where the cameras will capture video.

Worst functionality ever, I could have purchased a much cheaper system and be 1000 times happier. Clare needs to catch up to Google and the other camera systems
Extremely Disappointed
My builder installed this security camera system in my newly built home. So far I’ve been unbelievably disappointed with the app that controls the system.
Also, since the notification system is fundamentally useless, it would be nice to be able to choose the cameras that you want to receive notifications from.
The app isn’t intuitive at all! At this point I’m researching other systems to ClareVision.
I agree with one of the other customers, I should have installed ring cameras instead!

No more updates?
It’s way too buggy and has not been updated in a year.
Worse app I have ever used
The app has functions that do no work, each time you try to make changes on it the app will close and will
not let you make any changes to it. Have tried over and over and it’s just pointless!

Never records events
This camera/app constantly stop saving/recoding events for weeks on end. If we go into the history it just says “no events recorded”. Then one day it’ll randomly start recording again for a couple days then crash again for weeks. Super frustrating and not straight forward for finding a fix. Probably would not go with ClareVision again

Hands down the worst app on my phone. Nothing works as it should. I would give this 0 stars if I could. Clare get your stuff together….
These Products Stink
Let me preface by saying I have worked in I.T. for many years including supporting video systems. These products are terrible. The video doorbell bases its time settings off the mobile app & is often incorrect. My other camera times change often also. The app will not save the Notification settings (I have tried to turn them off). You also cannot leave doorbell on & the other off. Online & vendor support is terrible.

Would not purchase
App barely works. Microphone to doorbell doesn’t work not reliable. Ring is by far a superior option

I had high hopes for the ClareVision doorbell, but unfortunately, it has been nothing but a disappointment. From the start, the functionality felt half-baked, with unreliable motion detection, poor integration, and a frustratingly slow app experience.
If you’re looking for a reliable smart doorbell, look elsewhere. ClareVision simply doesn’t deliver.

Disappointed by functionality & limitations
One review says if you want to watch real-time video, this is the system for you - which is a perfect summary of this limited functionality system. There’s no way to fast forward through the saved recordings so you can’t scan for past events. On my system the filter for ‘events’ doesn’t work, so all I see are the many, many false motion events, triggered by wind, snow, rain, and even dust on my interior camera. The first week it was installed, I received 100’s of false motion alerts, so I had to disable notifications, which makes the system worthless - unless you just want to watch live video. Also system is slow to update and some of the motion event downloads fail. This app/system needs a lot of work. Very disappointed with the system in general. Should’ve saved the money and just gotten a Ring camera!

Extremely Disappointed

Cannot delete events in app
Some of my clients have asked me how to delete events after they have viewed them in the app and from what I can see this is not possible! It would be great if this feature could be added to make it more convenient for the end user to use

Won’t load image or feed
This app can’t load a feed or image fast enough for me to see who’s ringing my doorbell, so it’s not useful or helpful. Sometimes it won’t load anything at all, despite several tries, while whoever or whatever rang the bell has already left the neighborhood.
App crashes constantly!
Have to keep removing doorbell device from the app and re-adding it just to keep doorbell recordings working. We get a notification that there is movement at our door but there is no recording. Frustrating!
Been using for a year.
For about 70% of the time it works as expected. I’ve had multiple issues with the camera disconnecting or not operating as it should. For instance, right now, I receive motion notifications, but am unable to load the live view or see if there’s any saved events. Has been going on for the last week at this point. I guess I’ll have to call support again to fix. Would love to promote this as the hardware is nice, but the software is very lacking compared to off the shelf competition at a much lower price.

Worst ever
Avoid this security camera app. The motion events never show in the app, and even the love video feed is not great.
Notifications stop working
Notifications stop working after 2 weeks. While unplugging the NVR and rebooting fixes the problem, the notifications stop working again after 2 weeks. This is an ongoing issue now since months and hope someone at Clare can advise how to fix.
Worst ever
We’re spoiled the Nest UI. This up is horrible. Spinning wheels everywhere. Playback is horrible. Will get rid of this filth.
