App needs work.
I like this app, but it lacks many of the basic features that other crossword apps have. It doesn’t skip completed letters or words making it hard to complete the puzzles without creating errors on words or clues you have already completed. I don’t play as often due to this. In fact, the app was inactive and when I played it again, I knew why I rarely played it. Please fix these problems. Your app will improve greatly.

Button presses
Hi, I just have to say that on an iPad that the top row and the bottom row seem to have much smaller target Arias and it often goes to the coins screen. Very annoying.
Wrong solution
I spent $0.99 to solve a puzzle and the solution was incorrect. Tuition collectors and band to support the pants, a Bursar and a Belt. But the solution was a D, not a B. That is incorrect and I want my $0.99 back. If you cheat every single player out of $0.99 then you’re running a scam to steal our money. How is that fun? Ridiculous.

Retyping letters
I like the puzzles but don’t understand why letters have to be retyped when filling in words. Also, the clues don’t naturally move in sequence, one to the next.

Stupid thing won’t let me delete it off my phone I feel like I’m being held against my will. DELETE THIS THING!!! 😡

I played this app for a few weeks and couldn’t always finish the puzzles but then the last few, I realized there were major spelling errors and that was why I couldn’t figure out the puzzles I deleted the app.
Will have a hard time deleting if you install app

Misspellings
Obvious misspellings, and the puzzle won’t mark as complete until you use coins to “see wrong” and to change the spelling to incorrect. Multiple puzzles in a row did this, and I’m wondering if it’s a workaround for plagiarism or if it’s a ploy to get you to use coins.
Errors
The boards have spelling errors. For instance today, May 10,2026, 9 across should be SCOFF and the puzzle wanted SCOFE. 13 down should have been FRET, but puzzle wanted ERET. It’s happened at least 3 times since I started playing.

there are mistakes built into the puzzles that make it so you can't finish it unless you spend coins to show you the 'wrong' letters and/or spend coins to show the 'right' word which is often incorrect. very frustrating, not sure why they're so highly reviewed
Bugs
Nobody replies to bug issues. Subscription does not renew easily after trial. Subscription functionality doesn’t return after renewal. Completed puzzles continue to show in progress with the timer continuing to count.
Inaccurate spelling
Fun crossword but so far almost every puzzle has included misspelled words (scofe instead of scoff, for example.)
Spelling errors
I have been using this app for several months and have been disappointed to encounter spelling mistakes in a few of the last puzzles. For example pliant was spelled plaint in today’s puzzle
Fraudulent
This crossword app has misspelled words which forces you to use credits to find the “incorrect letters”. Two days in a row they had misspelled words (Britain>Britian & Pliant>plaint). This is fraud to users and should be reported to Apple.
