Exactly what I want
I found this from a reddit thread of people asking if apples music app could be changed to search your library by default rather than apple music. there wasn’t any way but someone recommended this app.
I am paying you $1 solely so I can search without having to press “library” prior to me search. Thanks for taking your time to make this.

Needs a tweak
I am happy about not being berated by Apple Music ads. I do, however, find irritation in that every time I open the phone to start some music up or get in the car to play music, it does not start up where it left off. I have to constantly reset the play queue, etc. Playlists remain intact, but I don’t want to use playlists all the time. If I have a queue, I would like it to pick up where it left off next time I start music.

A better music app - like it used to be
If you've been around awhile you've seen how all the "improvements" to the other app (which will remain nameless) have made it worse and worse. Get this app instead! ClassicPod returns to a simple interface with easy browsing and album artwork at full screen width. Get this app if you maintain your own library of downloaded music and do not want streaming continually forced on you

Great replacement for stock music app!
I’ve been frustrated with the iOS music app lately as it has become more and more focused on streaming music and loses features useful for people like me that sync mp3s to their phone.
This app uses the iTunes library already on your phone, but adds a simplified interface that looks more like the old iPod interface.
It would be nice if we could pin playlists and edit the song ratings.

Absolutely brilliant, perfect!
I have my offline music, I don’t want Apple Music. Apples app is always trying to get you to sign up. The search for songs defaults to searching Apple Music app rather than my library. This sorts all of that. A brilliant and simple app allowing me to listen to my music library with no interference. An absolutely bargain!

Missing critical option
I sort my music by Genre then Artist. When I want to look at my Genre list, I want to see the Artists who I’ve associated songs to that Genre.
This app offers no option and only shows Albums. I simply ask for the option to display the Artists who have songs attached to a selected Genre. Seeing thousands of album names is useless to me.
Ideally there would also be a Play All button easily accessible from the Genre tab.

My new music app
I like Apple Music but recent years they been destroying their music app. Few years ago I was using another music app similar to this one but hated the fact that was depending on Apple Music interface. This app now sits on my top 2 but definitely beats the 2 I mentioned, I feel this app is an integration between iOS6-7. Also as someone who drives a lot the ability to use Siri it’s a big plus and something that Apple has also been ruining as of lately. Definitely recommend this app to anyone especially with the amount of customization you get to fit your needs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
UPDATE- I’m still leaving 5 star because of Siri support but I do wish the app could give us the option to disable queue as all your library becomes a whole history regardless of your albums and playlists. That just defeats it’s purpose when playing a certain song from an album or list especially when you want to hit the rewind button to go to back to song within the album.

Great! But…
This is everything I miss about my iPod touch 4. One thing that needs to be fixed is the gaps in between songs.

Simple but powerful music app
Whilst ClassicPod is an easy to use app, it delivers a very effective player. It’s intuitive interface allows use to use iTunes music lists and playlists as well as building their own playlists.
