Version 21.3 focuses on stability, reliability, and quality-of-life improvements throughout the app. NEW • Library - New settings under Settings/Library to turn off playback-history and recently-added tracking if you prefer not to track them. • Player - Seek by tapping or dragging anywhere on the progress bar, plus an optional Scrubbing Pause setting for smoother dragging. IMPROVED • Library - Better support for tracks tagged with multiple genres. • Player - Swiping back on the cover art now always plays the previous track. • Player - Cleaner Player and Queue layout, with better handling of longer text in various languages. FIXED • Player - Like/Dislike now correctly toggles your favorite status from the iOS lock screen. • Player - The bottom bar no longer slips under the home indicator after returning from the background. • App - Various stability fixes and crash fixes. By far the best local music player

It’s not even close. BTR’s compatibility, features, ui, are by far the best out there right now. How I had to dig really deep for an app this good is beyond me.

I use this to go to sleep, car rides, and when at other places!! This app is very nice because it has no ads, you can use offline, and it has features like spotify. It also barely takes battery, so I can use other apps without significantly downing the battery, and it doesn't die on me while sleeping. The app is also very easy to use, in my opinion.

Best music player for ios!!!

I came across this app on Reddit and I'm glad I did. This is the closest thing I've used on my iPhone to Android in terms of freedom to do want you want to your music on your iPhone instead of having to use a pc everytime. My favorite feature is being able to add music using a USB and downloading straight to my phone and transfer it to the app.
