Clay Shaper: 3D Sculpting

Clay Shaper is a sculpting app where the clay is actually clay. Most 3D apps hand you a mesh — a fixed cage of triangles that stretches, tangles and tears when you push it too far. Clay Shaper does not. Your sculpture is a volume, the way a real lump of clay is a volume. Push a thumb into it and it dents. Pull a limb out and material follows. Punch a hole straight through and the hole is simply there. Nothing to retopologise, nothing to break. SCULPT WITH FOURTEEN TOOLS Build, carve, smooth, move, inflate, flatten, pinch, crease, smear and roughen. Twist, bend and grow are brushes too — you do them by hand, on the spot, not through a dialog. Mirror across the centre line, or work in radial symmetry up to twelvefold for ornament and rosettes. PAINT INTO THE MATERIAL Colour lives inside the clay, not on a skin stretched over it. Brush, spray or stamp it on, polish it back, pick a colour off the surface. Keep sculpting afterwards and the paint stays where it belongs — carve deep enough and you cut back to bare material, exactly as you would through a glaze. TWELVE FINISHED PIECES TO TAKE APART Open a scanned marble bust, a bronze lion, a rearing horse, a bull's head, procedural coral, a lotus, a Solomonic column and a rose window. Every one arrives as ordinary clay from the first second. Recut the features. Break the nose. Ruin it happily. STAND IT IN YOUR ROOM See any sculpture in AR at real size, on a real floor, through AR Quick Look. Choose 10 cm, 30 cm, a metre or life size, then walk around it. TAKE IT ANYWHERE Export watertight GLB, STL, OBJ or USDZ — ready for a printer, a render, or another tool. Hollow the sculpture out to a set wall thickness first and a resin print costs a fraction of what a solid one would. Render a PNG.
