Info not accurate

So far I’ve enjoyed the app, however there are some glitches. Take maple syrup for example. Real 100% maple syrup is just that. Maple syrup which is a type of sugar. For some brands it will say ‘Contains Added Sugar’ but then in the product details section under Sugars it will say, ‘no sugar.’ First off there is no added sugar if it’s 100% maple syrup, but yes, it contains sugar because it IS sugar. So this makes no sense. If you are already an ingredient snob and read labels then I’m not sure this app will be beneficial to you. But I got it for $20 for the entire year so I’ll keep it. But I won’t renew.

Too many unknown items!

I have scanned so many unknown “mystery” items that it’s absurd! If the app is new and learning that’s fine but to charge people for a subscription when clearly it’s still lacking a lot of data on food products is a scam.

Terrible onboarding

The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had just trying to use the app for the first time. I had to click through probably 30 screens of B.S. until it finally made me create an account and forced me to sign up for a plan. Couldn’t even see if I liked the app first. That says to me that you have such low confidence in your product that you have to force a subscription before a try-out. The app itself is pretty nice, but wow that first time user experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I’m going to uninstall.

Newbie

Just started using the app. So far seems good but again just started will share additional feedback after using the app for a month.

It’s not free

I hate when an app tells you it’s free and the moment you sign up and answer all of their questions they say seven days free and then you have to pay for a subscription. Why can’t they just be transparent from the beginning?
