The only thing that would make this app even better for a future update is maybe a way to exclude the already compressed “green” images and only show what isn’t compressed yet.

Hello, thank you for your detailed feedback, and we're sorry for the trouble. Version 6.5.0 had a bug that made bulk compression freeze every few items. We found the cause and fixed it in v6.5.1. Compression no longer depends on the step that was stalling, so large batches now run straight through. About images coming out larger: this can happen when HEIC originals are converted to JPEG at a high quality setting. In Compression options > Advanced you can choose HEIC as the output format or lower the quality. Version 6.5.1 also shows the estimated result size before you start, so you can check it in advance. If anything still doesn't work after updating, please let us know via our Facebook page (https://facebook.com/photocleaner) and we'll look into it right away. Thanks for your patience!

Nov 18, 2024Update: Thanks for adding the sorting by date to the Compress section, but I still need to select from individual folders as well just videos or just photos to compress.
Please consider these and all possible sorting and filtering options.
Dec 2025 Update: They backed out some of the UI changes they made a year ago, and this app is back to very good.
Idea: I would like to see a filter of compressed/uncompressed (so I could compress anything that isn’t already compressed)...or a “select all uncompressed” option.

Regarding your suggestion about filtering uncompressed items: This feature is already available. Please check the Manage Compressed menu in the app. There, you can easily view and manage items based on their compression status. If you have any trouble finding it, please let us know.
