Clero sends money straight from your bank account the same day — no wallet, no transfer fees. The AI receipt scanning makes splitting group expenses almost instant, and syncing cards means I'm not manually entering every charge. Replaced Splitwise + Venmo for me.

Best end-to-end workflow for splitting expenses by far!
I’m usually the person who offers to put the whole group bill on my card because of the credit card points which is great until I’m the one stuck figuring out what everyone owes and chasing people down afterward. Clero has made that whole process infinitely easier.
You can scan or upload a receipt and it automatically breaks everything down by item, so everyone can just claim what they got. You can split shared items too. You can also link your credit cards and bank accounts and pull transactions directly into the app, or sync receipts from your email, so you don’t have to manually enter everything.
The part I really love is that it doesn’t just calculate the split and then make you go use another app to actually settle it. You can send the request and get paid through Clero, and the money goes straight back to your linked bank account instead of sitting in some separate app wallet that you then have to withdraw.
You can also set up recurring splits and autopay for things like rent, utilities, subscriptions, etc., which is such a nice touch.
It basically takes a process that normally involves a receipt, calculator, Splitwise, Venmo/Zelle, and sometimes another transfer after that, and turns it into one flow. As someone who ends up paying for group stuff all the time, it’s genuinely made my life easier.

Easily settled our entire group trip!
Paid a $1,800 deposit for a Breckenridge chalet on my card. Everyone got clear payment request with itemized details, and 5 out of 6 friends paid me directly on Clero before we even finished unpacking our bags.
Verification Bad (UPDATE)
Wont accept my verification when it’s literally all correct information.. weird and sketchy. ( update : the reviews are fake ive asked friends and family to see if the verification works and it does not they send the same message to everyone regarding why they weren’t verified and also dont ever compare to venmo and the other big apps when you cant onboard kyc correctly i was interested and havent had issues with my identity anywhere before.

Our verification process evaluates multiple factors, which we can’t disclose for security reasons.
