Needs to use sailing rules
There is no application of the rules of sailing. Boats on port tack don’t give way to starboard tackers and don’t have to do penalty turns. Boats with inside overlap at marks get run over by boats outside with no penalty.
A boat to leeward and ahead should cast a wind shadow over the boat behind and to weather but that doesn’t happen. Also need an overview so you know where other boats are so you can plan strategy.
So bit of work to be done the make this better.

Much too fast
It looks like a good game but the developers need to slow it down to about a tenth of its current speed before I'll consider buying the full version. At the moment it's like speedboat racing in a sail boat which immediately destroys any sense of realism.
