Great little app…except
Yes but, need Sonos software to work for Clic to work?
Everything the Sonos app should be!!!
Anyone frustrated with using the Sonos app should try Clic for Sonos on their own system. It brings back the pleasure of controlling music playback thru Sonos.
Embarrasses the SONOS app
One small nitpick is that there’s one too many UI flourishes here and there. I’d remove the numbers from the volume sliders for example. And the rooms pop-up that duplicates the sidebar functionality is redundant IMO. But I’m really stretching to find faults.
It’s rock solid. Supports all native Mac OS touches like widgets. What more do you want?
Great Sonos Add-on!
Finally! Everything SONOS used to do and more!
Has become great
I now made the switch - even after SONOS mostly fixed the issues with their own app.
I am still dreaming of something that would allow me to completely use SONOS without the forced login from SONOS in their app. But lets see what the future holds.
Super App
Great - except for Spotify
Fix this and I’ll be happy to upgrade to a 5 star review
SIXTY DOLLARS
$2 a month, $15 a year, or $60 for lifetime.
How does anyone come to the conclusion that this application should be priced like this?
Never going back
Responsiveness is king
Das macht wieder Spaß
This is the app Sonos should have made
I like

Sorry to hear you’re not seeing the menu bar app you can search Clic Mini to launch it or open preferences in Clic and launch Clic Mini from there. It’s included without a subscription as well. Cheers! Nick
Every Sonos owner needs this
Honestly, a requirement for a Sonos user in 2025. Particularly a fan of the macOS app, but all the versions are super solid. The UI is what the Sonos app should have been redesigned as; it’s super slick and the design is very Apple-like, which I really appreciate over the monstrosity that is the Sonos App. The best part? Somehow, this app manages to load all my music and playlists just as fast as the official Apple Music app. The Sonos app will load for like 5-10 seconds before showing an album. It’s honestly worth the price just for that. (And honestly, it’s worth paying the equivalent of a fast food meal to get a well designed app that is supported and updated by a solo dev to make your $500 paperweights work again.) My only piece of feedback is the new UI for the 26 updates with Liquid Glass. It still looks amazing, but there’s definitely some super minor ui changes that will need to be made to bring it back to looking like a worldclass app. So super minor though. I 100% recommend anyone who has a Sonos product own this app.
very unhappy
I rarely use my Mac computer. I use my iPad and my iPhone generally for Sonos.
The app is not able to be used on iPhone or iPad without re-purchasing it this is a major flaw that it cannot be shared across devices
very unhappy customer
