Failing to Launch
Sadly, with all the efforts of Inels and Scolmore, this completely fails on every level to live up to its promise. The latest update even fails remote access from outside the home where it once worked. The offer of hey google or alexa just falls flat on its face. It’s not a difficult set of API’s to integrate for nearly every developer. One hopes the might if the Scolmore group fixes the areas its now hugely lacking and builds upon a fundamentally good offering.
Update December 2023:
After no updates for 3 years, specifically to ensure functionality with iOS 17… the app still fails to launch.
To add insult to injury, the iNELS app does see the Scolmore hub, but it prevents access to connect to it.
If Scolmore want to make life easier for users, perhaps not locking us from choosing to use the official iNELS app from which they get their devices.
Come on Scolmore, as a former wholesaler, I invested in your products based on where you procured your products and trusted you to maintain your standards, but you’re letting your wide customer base down completely.
We expect more!

Disappointed
Works for a bit then will stop and only way it will work again is if I turn the him off and on again which defeats the object of having it if away from the home very disappointed
Extremely poor - avoid
I’ve been living with my clicksmart system for a year now and it has never performed as it should. It drops out even from my home WiFi and you can’t login remotely which is one of the main reasons I installed this system.
We had a full survey from Scolmore prior to installation and spent £££ as per their recommendation and the whole experience has been totally unsatisfactory. My electrical contractors have been great but unfortunately the technology simply does not work.
Avoid Clicksmart and save yourself money and a lot of grief.

Major flaws
We installed the Clicksmart system 6 months ago and have had nothing but problems. Leaving aside the fact that the switches don’t work 50% of the time, when I go to the app as my backup to make my lights come on, I have to go thru 8 screens before I reach one that will activate my lights. Every single time I go into the app, it has reset to the beginning and I have to load my smart box all over again.
I also can’t connect remotely via the cloud, despite setting up an account as per the instructions, and also calling Scolmore and asking for help with the error messages that appear. So this app is only of use when I’m in my own house connected to the WiFi.
I’ve spoken to Scolmore and been told the app is being updated, but looking at the App Store, nothing has been changed in 9 months, so I’m not hopeful.
The idea is great, but the tech doesn’t live up to the promise. If you’re considering this system, save your money until it works. I wish we had gone with smart bulbs like Hue rather than smart switches, it would have been far less hassle.
