Location help
I have tried reaching support twice and haven’t heard anything back. I was in a different state when given access to the platform and was told I only had 24 hours to set up account or they would remove access.
Now I’m stuck on the “choose group” page with options that are hundreds of miles from where I live.

Feels like the worst parts of dating
The swipe format makes this feel more like a dating app than a networking tool. Once you pass on someone, there’s no going back, so every profile becomes a high stakes snap judgment instead of casual browsing. It’s heavily one on one, with little room for group or community engagement. You’re also asked to invite people, build out a full profile, and go gold before knowing if it’s worth your time. Not convinced this solves anything LinkedIn and Meetups doesn’t already do.

Greatly Intuitive!
As an introverted person who struggles to put myself out there and network, this app makes it so much less daunting to find like-minded professionals in a more curated space! The UI is incredibly straightforward and simple, and it’s very easy to search for clubs and events in my area— it feels professional while not being too stuffy! Awesome app.

Industries are limited
This app only works if your industry is available within the app, otherwise it won’t apply to you and the selection is very limited.
Scam
I decided to check this app out, and after logging on, I got nothing but a bunch of spam messages from people claiming to be in different industries than me, in different states on the other side of the country, and then without ever authorizing a free trial or anything, they attempted to charge me for $100 subscription.

Great concept with room to blossom
Clockout has a genuinely fantastic idea behind it for those like myself who are tired of building “connections” on other networking platforms that seem to go nowhere. This app feels clean, polished, and responsive, and I like the focus on helping people build professional connections in a more social, local way rather than simply being another LinkedIn clone. From the experiences I've seen from people who have actually used it to meet others, it seems like the app can genuinely help people find communities and make useful connections.
For me personally, though, the experience feels a little too exclusive. I understand that selectivity and professionalism are a big part of what Clockout is going for, but I think there is room for people who are more casual or reserved and still want to expand their professional network. The app could benefit from giving users more ways to communicate the kind of social or professional connections they're looking for, rather than making everyone feel like they need to fit into the same networking mold.
I would also love to see a larger selection of interest tags. There are currently only 27 interests across five categories, and I found myself stretching to choose even two that genuinely represented me. More specific interests would make it easier to find your niche and give other people a better idea of who you are beyond your profession.
The Gold membership is probably my biggest criticism. I understand that a service like this needs to generate revenue, but the subscription can make the experience feel a little pay-to-win, especially when networking is the entire purpose of the platform. I think there could be other optional features that give users a reason to pay without making the core experience feel as restricted.
Overall, I think Clockout has a very solid foundation and a lot of potential. The concept makes sense, the app is well designed, and with a little more flexibility around finding your people, I could see it becoming a much more approachable networking platform.

Solid professional networking app
Great app for professional networking. Love how it connects people through after-office hobbies and shared interests. Clean, easy-to-navigate interface. But as a new user, I’d prefer to explore the app first and invite friends whenever I’m ready, rather than upfront.

No option to not share my entire contact list. They just want to farm your connections data to sell to marketing and scam orgs.
Deceptive Subscription Practices
As a rule-of-thumb I don't sign up for free trials. Somehow, I was billed $99 for a year of Clockout without even creating my account for just opening the app. I meant to make an account later – but when I saw I was already being billed that left a gross tatse in my mouth 🤢 One star because Clockout won't reply to their support email – will update review once a resolution is reached – Apple needs to be more proactive in blocking these apps from the app store.

Automatically RSVPs YES
If you click the RSVP for an event it auto YES RSVPs then if you want to change to NO it’s a ten dollar fee. It’s done it to me several times and you can’t bypass the RSVP screen. Total scam.
Good but could use upgrades
It was a cool app and I had fun using it but I feel like there should be a way to access events without joining groups, a way to test the waters, just in case groups are too high commitment. I also feel like you should be able to swipe back to the person you passed on the connect tab. I would also like more options in interests as well as careers. And I wasn’t able to find my school in the school search section.

It’s a great app to get to connect with people, I think the interface could be more clear and unique since it reminds me of many other dating apps.
Unable to join clubs or connect, not worth any subscription
I am LA based and in the legal field so I thought that there would be a lot of events by me. Unfortunately you are limited to your industry so I am only eligible to join approximately 3 clubs. I requested to join all these clubs and my requests are still pending. This was super disappointing because it takes so long to start a profile. You can connect with people but it is similar to a dating app. The connections are odd because I have been automatically connected with people that I did not “swipe,” I can approve some connections, and I have some people pending that I have no option to approve at all. I did not buy a subscription so I am sure that I can approve the pending people with the subscription but this is honestly not worth your money because getting into a club is not guaranteed.

The app has a very easy and accessible UI with it all being very straightforward. The app is exactly what it says it is and does not under serve the goal. The ability to both join and host events is great however the need to be approved as system across the map could be worked on, it dims interest if you must be approved for every group and Im sure its not hard to get in but the premise is still the issue.

Networking Meets Fun
Well designed and intuitive app that allows working professionals to network on a more creative level. Reminds me of a mix between Linkedin, Partiful, and Tinder. Lots of different events and clubs for all types of interests and industries. Clean UI and easy to use.

I really enjoyed the UI of the app. It had a good mix of photos, emojis, and graphics without feeling too cluttered. The concept is definitely really cool and is helpful especially in today’s society. Once you graduate college, it can be hard to meet new people so this app is a good first step :)
