Four MicroSD cards locked
I have three cameras via CloudEdge and today, I just had to replace a MicroSD card for the fourth time - all of them genuine Kingston Canvas. One card was just fried but three of the cards had become write protected somehow and no way to unlock them using any utility. For some reason, perhaps the aggressive cloud services marketing in the app, it just occurred to me that locking MicroSD cards might be a means of 'encouraging' people to use the cloud services. Call me cynical but it is odd that the same error has occurred on three cards.
Other than that, I wish this app would just do what is necessary and do it quietly. Unfortunately, quite often, when something happens in the field of view of one of my three cameras, they fail to activate. They are all set to be at their highest sensitivity yet on one occasion in the middle of the night, without going into great detail, there were two flashing vehicles and six people coming and going in, out and around my house (all within the field of view of all three cameras) for an hour and not one camera picked anything up. It is just lucky that my house wasn't being burgled. Other times, I look at the alarm footage and the tiniest moth has triggered a recording or sometimes seemingly nothing at all.
Plus, there is a click through mini-tutorial every time there is an upgrade. After the latest upgrade, there we upgrade nags on every screen which, due to the number I have seen (at least ten including one on each camera screen and one on each camera alarm page) seem to recur. I'm not interested in upgrading - please take no as my answer - a permanent and decisive NO.

Love it but it could be better
The picture quality is amazing and I really love how I can set up a schedule to release the treats… HOWEVER it would be great if there were more timeslot options for one thing. But more importantly, my schedule changes throughout the week so it would be nice if you could have different times designated for different days. I have to go in and manually change the schedule every day. This is so time consuming and very frustrating.!!

Great app, but Alarm Area not working since last update - picks up all activity outside the allocated area as well. Very frustrating, can you fix it please.

Too many ads
I wasn’t going to give this app any stars but am forced to give at least 1 otherwise I can’t save the review. When you purchase hardware and the software that drives it contains ads it just infuriates me to no end.
To that I want to add that the app isn’t that good anyway. I can understand wanting to charge for off site storage but have buttons and offers that act like they work until you try and use them and they then say “you gotta pay…”

Easy peasy
Simple enough: quick connect and clear view
Notifications Options Needed
This was mentioned by another reviewer, but the app desperately needs options for notifications. Manually turning them off in my settings creates the issue of needing to remember to turn them back on.
Wants you to pay now
Since the app update, you cannot access anything… Never had to pay prior to app update. Now we have no camera access at all unless you pay $90 a year. AI pop ups, and we will be throwing camera system in trash. It wasn’t even great to begin with! Don’t waste your $$$!

These cameras are OK. They have a great picture but they’re poor with the 360°. They will not follow everything. They do only follow it for seconds when it does many many false notifications for part vehicles and you have to purchase the AI package for each individual cameras, but I’m sure this review will not be posted for it’s more negative than it is positive and we all know in today’s society that we can only share positive because we don’t want to know how bad everything is. Useless App
I’ll cancel this service in May before the billing date and they have charged me over $88 since then. Their service is useless. The nine dollars apiece you pay for the camera app does absolutely nothing more than the camera on standalone. When somebody walks through my camera, they are usually in the house and seated before the app even alerts me and it don’t start recording until then so it’s absolutely useless and it is impossible to cancel.

Ads in your face all the time. Battery low popups persist like a plague once at 19%. This “was” a simple useful device, now it is simply a pain to use.

So happy with my solar powered equipment, quality of footage and notifications. Only issue is that I do have to do PTZ resets because the camera for some reason loves to look at the ground😂. It will move when there is movement, but when I go on to view live I have to adjust it to see beyond the grass. Maybe someone can help me out with this?! Anyway, I’m very happy with it and LOVE that I don’t have to charge it.

Good tech
The software and camera are pretty cool, especially as it is solar powered and doesn’t need to be plugged in. I’ve used it to monitor wildlife in my backyard and have snagged some amazing shots. The fact I can capture stills from the feed or sections of the feed is a great feature. I also like the fact the software will note when something large passes by and notify me, though it has a tendency to report flying bugs at night, but that’s okay.
I do wish the camera had a zoom function so I could set the focus on a specific point rather than just full field all the time.

Missing some footage
Some footage doesn’t record. When I go live I can see clear and zoom is excellent camera turns at 355. Nice camera easy setup just needs to get all footage that’s important in a security camera
No more battery percentage ?
Loved this app but why why why did they remove the battery life ? From the monitoring screen we really need this back please developers
