What's New in CloudGear

2.1

September 10, 2026

- (tvOS) Fixed HDR games looking washed out - (tvOS) Frame pacing is now off by default for lower latency - turn it back on in Settings > Video if you see stutter - (iOS) Fixed the mouse pointer losing its lock in certain scenarios - Luna: Added support for the Amazon Luna Controller in "Cloud Direct" mode - the controller talks to Luna over your Wi-Fi network directly instead of routing its input through your iPhone or iPad, which keeps latency down - Luna: Fixed the mouse cursor sometimes incorrectly appearing at the beginning of a stream - GFN: Restored the overlay disclosure in desktop mode when playing with only a Steam Controller - OnePlay: Fixed the dashboard failing to load - Miscellaneous bug fixes and other improvements

Keeping this short

If you want to get GFN or any cloud streaming service and you’re on iOS? Get this browser, costs only $2 monthly or buy it forever for like $35. I am able to play 1440p with 120 fps with this, because without this app safari locks it to 60 fps and 1080p.

Please fix the unpair bug

I was experimenting with the pairing system, and I have noticed when you unpair it doesn’t unpair from the iPhone or iPad completely so the only way for me to reconnect after I’ve unpaired from the Apple TV is to delete the app and reinstall it and re-sign into everything so please fix this with your next update.

Response from developer

We'll look into this, but in future if you have any issues with pairing - you can just manually delete the pairing via the settings screen, without having to delete the whole app (on iOS, swipe left on the paired item you want to delete and tap the trash icon).

Worth every penny.

The developers keep polishing and adding quality improvements that make streaming gaming on iOS so much better than it has ever been before. The improvements to controls and audios vs anything else is night and day. Keep it up!
Works fantastically with Boosteroid for me, and makes nVidia Now less miserable… almost friendly, even. Absolutely a must have for cloud based gamers who don’t have a dedicated app for their service.

Fantastic app

Great app for cloud streaming games to your phone.

I connect my phone to a dock which is then connected to my tv. For whatever reason though I have to disconnect the hdmi from the dock and plug it back in to get audio. I’ve tried two different docks. Not sure if it’s an issue with my iPhone, the dock, or the CloudGear browser but just thought i would mention it.

Other than that it works really well!
