New game mode! Hedgerow joins Wild Growth, Bramble, and Scatter as the fourth premium variant. In Hedgerow, both players start with ten pieces, planted in two rows. Bramble gets a new twist called Fallow Boards. Four new boards block squares in each player's home row, and players start with one fewer piece for each bramble in a home row. Plus four new classic Bramble boards brings the total up to 36. Let Clovers shuffle them randomly, or pick your favorite by tapping the # badge next to the New Game button. Hints get an upgrade! Now you can access hints from every non-Ranked game mode, including Wild Growth, Bramble, Scatter, and Hedgerow. Look for the light bulb button next to Undo. The theme picker screen has an improved layout to make it easier and faster to find your favorite theme. You can now also toggle between the light and dark version of each theme directly from the game screen, the Settings screen, or the theme picker screen. And a few more unwanted bugs were removed from the meadow. Enjoy!

Charming board game

I can beat Seedling and even Sapling pretty reliably now, but every time I play Old Growth I’m reminded just how deep the strategy is. I love the dialogue that varies with each theme, especially Thornwall’s fun facts.

Fun for the whole family

The rules were easy to learn, and the gameplay is both fun and surprisingly challenging. Each game only takes a few minutes, so it’s easy to fit into a busy day. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys strategy board games. The creative themes and cute AI dialogue also make it very kid-friendly.
