What is this ?
All I wanted to do was check out frome ..angling club. So I am directed here. When I open the app it wants an account. Doesn’t tell how to get one, although I got p****d off after a while. I’m old, I don’t need rubbish like this.
Potential can be seen
The app definitely has its upsides like how if you want to get a day pass for a mate although I’ve heard it’s buggy- I just liked my old handbooks and it was easier as I could just say my number rather than faffing with qr codes and searching up names

Stuck on a page won’t let me do anything absolutely useless I wonder how much money this app has lost fisheries

It hardly works, lots of issues.

Does the basics
Using this app feels like it was made by two drunk guys who needed a way to make money and are convinced they’re programmers because they once inserted html onto their MySpace page. It’s a clunky, half configured template where sometimes a button works (great) and sometimes it doesn’t, but you’ll never know why. It’s tailored purely for club admins as that’s where they get their money, which makes sense really but it is targeted directly at that “club committee is god” mindset, meaning I can’t really do anything other than hope it works or at least hope the club admin knows what electricity is.
Want to change your picture/attempt to reupload it because the app went wobbly and corrupted it? Can’t, email the club. Good luck buying a membership until they respond in 6 weeks time.
Need to change your email because the app didn’t like the one you’ve always used on it? Can’t sorry, got to email the club. Until they reply you’ll have to login to the different emails to access different clubs. (Seriously this one is crazy, have a dashboard that allows multiple clubs across different email addresses).
I really want to like this app, it’s a great idea and should be easier than driving 45 minutes to some tiny local shop with no parking to buy a membership but at the moment it’s frustrating to use and not preferable.

Oh dear
This “app” feels like a throwback to the software of the 90’s - it badly needs an upgrade. It’s horrible to look at and horrible to use. Navigating around the app is awful (frequently no back option) and for the many of us who are short sighted, the typefaces are too small to read comfortably.

corect. l've had help from the cub and the problem still isnt resolved.
I'm not against technology replacing membership books, but i do feel sorry for the older menters who may stuggle with this. That’s made worse by the

Total rubbish don’t bother
Can never sign in password reset never works, look at the overall rating very poor
Very painful
Basically doesn’t work, im a bailiff and have to use it but im not able as it just dont work. Constantly having to close the app to return to the previous page as theres no back button.
Renewed my club ticket payed and got the receipt and after our season started its telling me that i need to renew and pay again. Almost seems like a scam

Doesn’t let me sign up
Unless im doing something wrong it just sends me straight to the log in button but I want to sign up

Incredibly bad but good opportunity
After downloading the App the first screen asked you to sign in which obviously fails because you haven’t yet created an account. No welcome page and introduction on how to get started. There is a significant opportunity missed here but with the right vision, intelligence, digital strategy and technical team it can be groundbreaking. I’m happy to share my experience and views.

Fishing permits all in one place
I love this app, I not only use it for myself but also my partner and son to purchase permits for multiple clubs. I really like the idea of all the different memberships that I have taken out are in one place with their own expiry dates so you don’t need to go searching when it runs out. It’s really convenient these days as everyone takes their phone everywhere and really easy to access, whereas old school permits your more likely to lose a permit or to forget it - if your like me, but I always have my phone which makes it more convenient and appealing for me to use. From a club perspective it takes a lot of stress away from clubs if they have the one platform to look after the membership for you with the added feature for the bailiff team to review anyone who has purchased a ticket. Great idea, easy to use and easy upload your photo for your permit, never had any problems with it, can’t recommend it enough for the day to day angler or the fishery / club itself.

I'm really pleased with this application. I have found Clubmate to be a game changer! All my memberships are held in one easily accessible app. Renewing and taking out new memberships has now become so easy! I highly recommend this application.

I’ve been using this app for a little under a year now. It’s easy to use, I love how it mirrors the website which makes navigating the app super easy and it’s great that I have all my memberships listed in one place.

Game changing app
Been using the Clubmate app at our fishery and its made life so much easier for our bailiffs doing the rounds every day. Really simple checking membership, checking vehicle registrations in the car park etc. Reduced our admin and even a caveman could use the app, super simple and super effective!
They Block you on social media if you ….
Dare to tell them that their app needs to be made better for the User!! I voiced a genuine opinion on the User interface of this App and as soon as it got the attention of people with the same opinion I was blocked and comment was removed!! The User side of the App is a clonky and cluttered mess, there is to much restriction in what you as a user can do and then you reliant on people without much tech know how to deal with it ….. it’s a mess, which could be easily sorted, but they are more interested in the Admin side of things and making money!

Shockingly bad
Our club started using Club Mate for permits. The app is like something out of the 00s. On iOS there is no back button which means having to close the app down each time you want to return to a previous screen. Horrible, awful app.
