Backup files use .json When you create a backup in Settings → Backup & Restore, the default filename now ends with .json (for example, cluckout_backup_2026-07-22.json) so Files and other apps recognize it as JSON. Redesigned Clock A clearer live session: Working or On Break status, large hero timer, and side-by-side work duration with estimated pay. On break, the hero shows break time and metrics show Work so far. Overlap detection Add or edit an entry that conflicts with another record and CluckOut blocks the save with a clear message. Back-to-back ranges are fine. Overlapping rows are flagged in Summary, with a note when totals may count overlapping time more than once. Smarter entry forms Validation banners call out clock order, break issues, and overlaps. Duration and pay preview as you edit. Rate fields show From category or Custom. Move check-in and breaks keep their relative offsets; change check-out and breaks clamp into the session. Backup & Restore Save a full backup of your records, preferences, and categories—or any combination—then restore later. Preferences and categories replace what’s on the device; records merge and skip duplicates. Find it in Settings → Backup & Restore. Still Clocked In Reminder Forgot to clock out? In Settings → Reminders, turn on Remind Me If Still Clocked In, set your usual end time, and choose how often to repeat. If you are still clocked in at that time, CluckOut notifies you—and keeps reminding you until you clock out. Long Break Reminder Break running long? Turn on Remind Me If Break Runs Long, choose how long before the first nudge (30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes, or Custom from 1–240 minutes), and how often to repeat. You'll get a “Still on break?” notification after your break exceeds that time, then again until you resume work or clock out. Summary filter toolbar Pick a day, week, month, or year from a compact toolbar on Summary. Tap the calendar for a full calendar view with a clear Day/Week/Month/Year control, jump to Today / This Week / This Month / This Year, and filter by category from the same bar. Metric carousel On Summary, Total Time and Estimated Pay swipe as carousel pages (with page dots), so you can tell time and pay apart at a glance. Layout polish Settings and Clock screens reserve space for the ad banner so footers and controls are no longer covered when you scroll. Summary updates category breakdown and time records right after you save an edit.
