Incomprehensible game
We tried Edmonton Downtown Detectives in a team of 4. Despite having completed dozens of escape rooms, we gave up about 1/3 of the way into this game.
It is akin to the worst escape games, the ones that pat themselves on the back for being too hard. We were expecting a light-hearted treasure hunt around the city, with a fun narrative and some puzzles. We got voluntarily arcane enigma, most of which were incomprehensible, even with the solutions revealed.
