My wife and I are avid book readers, and we have accumulated over 8,000 books over the years. I wish we had discovered this sooner. We have been to many library book sales, and we came home and realized we already had a copy. Customer Support actually listens to the users and fix reported bugs. This is the best app to keep organized digital and physical books, easy to use, beautiful interface, fully customizable. I recommend it 100%, I have been using it for over two years and I wouldn’t change it for any other app.

First Impressions fantastic then I hit a lot of “not founds”
I found the speed at which one could add books was terrific. When I had a formatting error moving my Goodreads collection I simply pointed the camera at my screen where there were 200 barcodes. It just went ping, ping, ping and in a minute it identified most of the books. However quite a few of the books were not found and I came to the conclusion that the isbn database wasn’t as comprehensively full as it appeared. I also couldn’t understand why the “update from core” didn’t work to bring back the cover art without the barcode. It can find the books from title and author so why not provide a selection of covers. Early days but I’m going to pay the subscription because I’ve had $20 worth of fun from it. I just don’t understand why the developers can’t scrape data from the library of congress or the British library to get all the info of every book.

Indispensable
I recently purchased the CLZ Book app and it’s fast becoming another CLZ favorite (I’ve used the Music and Movie apps for many, many years). Hundreds of books are now in a manageable data base with no more physically searching shelves and stacks to see what I have, making it easy to check that I’m not purchasing another copy of a title.

Exceptionally good app
CLZ Books is an app I have used for several years to keep track of my library. It keeps track of and will search all of the relevant data. I find it easy to enter data into, even data about books that are unusual, such as facsimiles of ancient manuscripts. My only complaint is that it cannot read my mind and warn me that I am thinking about a book already in my library. It is my failure to check this app that has had me purchasing duplicate copies that I already own. So I recommend it - and I recommend checking it before you purchase a book.

This is by far the best book library on apple. So easy to add books to library and lots of options to get your library organised the way you want. Worth the subscription!
My Go-To For Years
I’ve used CLZ Books (and Music) for years. It’s the simplest way I’ve found to keep track of my collections. The camera driven ISBN scanner is brilliant. And in the rare case it doesn’t find the book I’m adding, the manual entry method is easy to use as well.
Don’t let ‘simple’ put you off though. The app allows you to filter as many ways as you can imagine. Its ability to track books series is excellent and extremely useful for me.

Smooth Transition From Readerware
Just moved about 4000 entries from the now discontinued “Readerware” and the move could not have been easier using the CLZ tool. Effective concept of Core Collection is well considered. More to come as I explore
Disappointing
Not many of the independent books I have in my library that have isbn numbers are findable and i have to enter the majority of information myself and I cannot include pictures of the book, so it’s a blank cover. Very disappointed. Will start looking for another way to catalog my books.
Phenomenal Books Database
Over the years, I have used several database applications to catalog my collection of books. CLZ Books has joyfully surpassed each of them. I am completely satisfied with its intuitive look, feel and ease of use. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to keep track of their personal library.

“Seems” like a good app. For $20/year, it is clear that is a terrible deal since user account authentication is a train wreck. Search for something like this elsewhere.

I’ve been using CLZ Books for twenty years, starting back when it was a Windows app and eventually moving to their cloud platform and mobile apps. With more than 2,000 books in my collection, their apps make it easy to keep everything organized across all my devices. I use CLZ to track books I want to buy and read in the future, but also to rediscover books already in my collection that I want to read again. I also share my cloud link with friends so they can browse my collection and find ideas for books they might want to read.

Great app
I own both books and movies. This app is very smart in finding the ISBN on a page full of text. For books without an ISBN, there is an add book by title or author. Also has an add manually for those books it can’t find in its catalog although this has only happen twice in the ~500 books I’ve entered. I used the tag option to categorize my books with my own personally created categories and this has worked well so far. It also gives the number of books in each tag. Only took a few hours to enter the number of books I have in so far and I’m not quite done yet. I also like that it gives list price and current value of the book. There is also a link if you want to see if the book is on eBay. I pretty sure as time goes on I’ll enjoy this as much as the movie app in I have entered my ~2700 DVDs. I would recommend this to anybody with a lot of books who wants to organize their collection. One final note is they have a free backup to the cloud. Enjoy!
