What's New in CMEPlan
1.0.3
June 11, 2026
CMEPlan is now ready for clinicians who want a calmer way to prepare for renewal season. This release replaces the previous UnitGuard experience with a focused CME and CE tracking workspace built around hours, categories, certificates, proof gaps, planning, and export. WHAT IS NEW • New CMEPlan brand and clinician-focused interface • Renewal cycle tracking for CME and CE requirements • Profession-based starter categories for physicians, NPs, PAs, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and allied health professionals • Custom category requirements for ethics, controlled substances, state-specific hours, specialty review, pharmacology, patient safety, board review, clinical CE, and more • Activity logging for completed and planned CME or CE • Certificate attachment for local PDF and image files • Missing-proof flags so completed activities without certificates stay visible • Overview dashboard with completed hours, required hours, remaining hours, days left, pace, and proof gaps • Plan view for remaining hours by category and upcoming planned activities • Cycle detail views for requirements, activities, exports, archive, duplicate, and delete actions • Local CME packet PDF export with cycle summary, category progress, activity table, certificate index, and disclaimer • Native share sheet support for exported renewal packets • Local notification reminders for renewal planning and missing proof • Profile workspace with subscription, reminders, appearance settings, and local data reset • Premium light and dark themes with a polished Apple-like interface • Theme switcher for System, Light, and Dark modes • RevenueCat hosted paywalls for trial and plan management • Read-only access to existing local records if subscription access lapses WORKFLOW IMPROVEMENTS CMEPlan now starts with a guided setup for profession, renewal cycle, required hours, and category templates. Once active, the app opens to an Overview dashboard that answers the most important renewal question first: how much CME or CE is complete, how much is still required, and which completed activities still need certificate proof. Activities can be planned in advance or marked complete after a course, conference session, employer module, board review, state renewal course, ethics training, pharmacology credit, or controlled-substances program. Completed activities without proof are flagged until a certificate is attached, making it easier to clean up records before renewal week. The Plan tab helps translate remaining hours into a practical pace. Instead of waiting until the deadline is close, you can see remaining category hours and upcoming planned activities in one place. The Profile area now includes workspace stats, reminders, subscription access, legal information, reset controls, and appearance settings. EXPORT AND LOCAL RECORDS The new export flow creates a local CME packet PDF using the data you entered on device. It can include cycle details, category progress, an activity table, a certificate index, certificate pages, and the required disclaimer. Sharing uses the native iOS share sheet. WHY IT MATTERS Clinicians often finish CME across course portals, conferences, employer modules, board review programs, state renewal modules, and email attachments. CMEPlan helps bring those records into one local workspace so you can see hours, categories, missing proof, and renewal readiness before the deadline is close. This version is local-first and designed to help clinicians organize renewal records without relying on external course marketplaces, board scraping, or cloud sync. CMEPlan is an organization tool; always verify official requirements with your licensing board, certifying body, employer, or appropriate authority.
