Completely useless
Absolutely hopeless. Have been trying to pay my accountant for days (they’ve been a verified payee for years). Keep going around in circles: “Something went wrong, please try again” … “STOP! Do not proceed. This is a scam!” … Enough is enough. I’m closing the account and moving to a bank that actually allows me to pay people. There is nothing ethical about refusing to give people access to their own money!! You should have your banking license stripped! Don’t touch with a barge pole.

Who ever maintains this app is so far the competition. A business bank in name only, not made for business in a modern world.
Why does this banking app:
Use two apps for security?
Cannot download a statement.
Accept cheques?
Account analysis.
Use strange naming conventions for payment made by clients or transfer of money?
Communicate to customer services through the app?
Looking at the reviews they know how bad the app is.
Either cannot or don’t want to modernise.

Clunky and complicated
Steps to register are over complicated AND I have had to do it a 2nd time, as it forgot I did it yesterday
Nearly excellent
I have two serious gripes, neither of which would be necessary if the developer had actually paid a batch of invoices.
After paying each invoice, the system asks how was it for you - and when you give feedback it is ignored. This has been going on for weeks now
The other is the ridiculous insistence on asking what a payment is for - then not having a category for salaries or HMRC A complete waste of time. The desktop version doesn’t require it and despite repeated requests I have never been given any justification for it

Worst banking website
The Co-op site is awful. They have tried to improve it and may have done a little. Stuff is hard to find. Only two days ago I was getting a constant “no statement available for this period” because I only needed 1-5 November 2024. If it were not for free banking, and that my some of my punters might use the change as an excuse to get confused over payment, I’d be away like a shot! Horrible.

Useless - screen goes blank setting up a payment
Not much functionality
It would be much much better if it was possible to download proper bank statements, as opposed to just a list of transactions.
Also every time you make a payment, even to regular payees, it asks the same security questions so making a quick small payment is actually quite arduous. There’s no need for the extra security when it is a payee that’s used regularly and has been established as a safe payee.

This bank drives me mad
Honestly, think of what you’d expect a bank account app to do and this probably doesn’t do it
What year was this created?
Who ever maintains this app is so far behind the other business banking apps, I felt I was going to a museum of ancient times. I think you need to have a look at how other banks do it.

Nowhere near as good as Monzo, Chase et al
Worst banking app
This app is so ancient and clunky I feel like I’m in 1992.
At last some improvements
Finally you are able to search back further than the current month and for individual transactions, however doesn’t always work with recipient name for payments but by the reference which is awkward if you pay the same recipient with different references. Still annoying that I can pay a bill on Friday night or Saturday which I need to be listed as Friday or Saturday (the date I actually pay it) to match my accounts and receipts but it constantly changes the date to Monday so it looks like the transaction is the following week so really difficult to complete accounts using statements. Not good enough Co-op. My other apps may list the transaction as pending initially but always list the date transaction was actually made on my statements.

How many times do I have to phone
I am really fed up of the amount of times I have to “register” for online banking. I am constantly being thrown out of the app and have to call which takes forever. Think it’s time to move banks
