Can not move players around now, say if someone gets injured or someone wants to come off it won’t let you swap the player into any position on the roster. You can only move them to the bottom of the list.

You’ve stuffed the app
When rewriting an app you have to bug test it so there is that many bugs that it’s ridiculous. You have to have at least one substitution due to your app. It doesn’t stay in line where the bench stays down the bottom which was perfect before. So if you’re gonna claim it’s better. Make sure you bug tested before I thought it was perfect now I think you’ve stuffed it.

Update suggestion
Great app for kids sports! It would be great to either be able to edit a players name (so you can add their position) or add a drop down position next to their name for quick reference when subbing players.
Very useful but needs some refinement
Great app simple but a couple of quirks to watch out for
- if adding player mid game, their timers are not reset from the previous game (only resets at start of game)
- out of sequence player swaps are tricky (eg someone comes off unexpectedly ) you can do it but it gets very fiddly. Would be great to be able to have a quick swap function
- would be great to have a half time/quarter time function

Simple and useful, but keeps no history
The app is exactly what i need, a roster and a timer for subbing. Unfortunately it doesn’t remember previous games or even the roster after the app is closed. I created a team the night before a game to get ready for it, but the next morning everything was reset and blank. I would’ve had to type in all my names and set the game setttings right before the game started. So the app is a non-starter for me. Pun intended.

Very handy!
Has all the fundamentals and very simple UI which is easy to use.
Very frustrating that I have to delete the app and reinstall every time there is a new game as I can’t seem to find a way to reset the player times.

Needs multiple teams
Great app, but would be good if you could save teams/players names for different sports.
Why?
Using for U7, 4 players take the field and I have 3 subs. Gives me an error telling me I can’t have 3 subs? Can’t progress any further, very frustrating

Great potential
Have not used it in a game yet, but seems like it has good potential. Agree with annoyance of having to stop two timers. That seems odd. Would also like a ‘period’ input that allows goalie subs only at end of periods or not at all. Finally, most important suggestion: add button that jumps right to next sub period so coaches can use this to see what final player time would look like. Who has time to let click run all the way down to check to see how equal distribution will eventually be. Also allows me to write baseline sub plan down in advance since often hard to see phone in the sun on field.

Great with one quibble
Love the lineup management. Easy and straightforward to use. In youth U8, we have 4 periods with 7 minute play and 3 minute breaks. Would be great if I can hit a single pause and play button to stop both the game timer and rotation timer. Unless I’m missing something I have to hit both pause buttons to stop both timers and both to resume after the break. Would be even better if we could specify the number of breaks and time so the timer could manage that as well.

No ability to swap goalie with specific player
I like the setup of the app but I would prefer the ability to swap a specific player with the goalie. The current setup pulls the next player into that position while filling that spot from the bench.
Forward for forwards
Hi just wondered how I use the only changing a forward for a forward bit, can’t seem to find how to do it.

Super simple and very helpful
A great app. I’ve used it for two years now to manage substitutions for the sports teams I coach. The countdown feature to the next sub is great, as when the kids ask when they are due to go on I just show them the timer. Thanks for developing this app.
Possible update
Hi there would it be possible to give players a group so we could have forwards and backs thus making sure the app only subbed a forward for a forward and so on. Many thanks

Good start but not quit there
Found this and gave it a go in a friendly colts rugby game today.
I was hoping for more, but it didn't really do it for me.
Good points, easy to add names to the overall squad and then easy to select who was in the match day squad.
Not so good things, (or things I couldn't figure out)
1. Seems to force a substitution on a timed basis. Don't want that, it's overly complicated and annoying. Just give me the option to drag a player off and drag a player on whenever I need - simple. When the player is on, his timer runs, when the player is off it stops.
2. No obvious way of getting the stats out
? Why can't I email or save the players stats of time on pitch?
3. Would be good to be able to mark player injury. I.e. Subbed because of injury
With these few changes I would use it, as it is it's a bit too complicated and cumbersome to use. Or I'm missing something - in which case some help would be good

Exactly what I needed
Used for kids rugby team and made it so much easier to manage who was due to come on and off and ensuring equal game time. Only suggestion is letting game timer keep ticking over after it gets to zero as games can run longer due to injury time etc
