What's New in CocoMico Quest
3.1
September 5, 2026
Ver 3.1 Update Notes ▼The ceiling is gone • The 999 cap on STR, INT, DEX and LUK can now be lifted with Cat Souls (+50 per step) — somewhere for the points that pile up across rebirths. • Evasion past 30% becomes damage reduction, crit rate past 200% becomes attack, item find past 100% becomes a coin bonus, and cooldown reduction becomes skill power. • A rebirth no longer stalls JOB training, and the top of the screen tells you how to lift whatever stops growing. ▼JOB tree polish • The tree is painted in the job's color (Warrior orange, Mage purple, Archer green, Thief blue), so locked, in progress, maxed and ultimate read at a glance. • Added job titles, a Four Heroes' Blessing counter, and a master's task worth 1 JP a day. • Your master appears when you first invest in an ultimate, promotions compare with your last rank, and a MAX button spends all your JP at once. ▼Things that keep you playing • A 30-hit combo triggers Fever, boss HP bars pulse gold below 10%, and boss streaks of 3, 5 and 10 wins pay rising gems. • Lose on the timer with 10% boss HP or less and you get "So close!" — next time the boss starts wounded. • Shiny chests, a lucky enemy of the day and repdigit kill counts all pay out gems. ▼Your data is safe when you switch phones • Saves now back up to iCloud. On the same Apple ID you can restore after switching devices, comparing both copies first under Settings → Data. ▼The Abyss, and a much bigger item book • Added the Abyss beyond Stage 1000. Every 100 floors opens a new tier, and the Monster Hunter, Explorer and Reborn ranks go higher. • The item book grew from 8 to 48 kinds — eight more every 100 floors (fruit → vegetables → mushrooms → seafood), and it shows where each starts dropping. Deeper items are rarer rather than stronger, and everything past floor 100 was toned down. • Added 40 monsters in 3 colors each, sorted by floor band. Rank plates change with your tier, and a tier you reach never drops back. ▼Ranking overhaul • Added Raid Event Best Lv, Raid Event Damage and Sustained DPS, and Game Center standings now show inside the game. • Tap a name to make that player your rival — you're told when you pass them or they pass you back. • Added nearby standings, a shareable rank card, and a chart of your rank over time. ▼Job and level rework • Level and EXP are shared across every job — switching no longer resets you to 1. • Rebalanced the Mage's MP, and Mega Thunder Cannon now spends your whole pool and hits harder the more you spent. • Added a 100-pull to the Gem Gacha (100 tickets). ▼Easier to play, easier to read • Small buttons and text are now sized for fingers, faint text is darker, and button colors are consistent by meaning. • Long screens — Settings, Daily, Adventure Log, Shop, Events — are split into a hub plus sub-screens, distant features stay hidden, and the iPad title screen has its own wide illustration. • The in-battle buttons (normal attack, AUTO TAP, game speed) now fold into a menu at the bottom left, giving the fight more room. Pause sits outside it and reads "Pause" / "Play". ▼Smoothed out the first-play snags • Your very first gear drop is guaranteed to be equippable, skill AUTO can be switched on straight from the tip, and repeated boss timeouts now bring a hint for what to try next. ▼Fixes • Updating from 3.0 could drop your title by one rank because the books had grown — fixed, and the title you earned in 3.0 carries over. • Player names ran through the translator, so a name could look different in other languages and rival tracking could break. Fixed, along with the last strings still showing in Japanese. • Also fixed: "0 left" stuck in the first boss fight of floors 100/150/200, the idle screen covering an open menu, the blank 7-Day Login screen, lost numbers on multi-hit skills, "NaN" on HP/MP/EXP, and the smallest item values being one digit off.
