Keeps me plugged into CoDA while I’m on the go. I can find a meeting almost anytime of day.
Great start but needs work
The meeting search feature on here is admittedly better than the website but still not great.
Relax people
Try not to discourage people from recovery. Try just encouraging a first of our lifetime app. Give em a break.
Does the basics!
This is a brand new app so I know they will be rolling out new features as they go. Would love to see a section on "announcements/current events" like they have on the website for upcoming conferences. Other than that it's solid!
Looks like they fixed whatever bug people were complaining about with the pamphlets/readings not downloading well. -At least I have no problems with them on an iPhone.

Just a teaser
I’m glad that Coda came out with an app and is starting the process of offering electronic resources in the modern world. Downloadable references included need to be formatted for an app. They currently appear to be scanned images of trifold pamphlets, so they appear in an odd order and are incomplete. There’s no page 2 of any of the downloadable materials.
I am unable to zoom in to enlarge the font on any of the materials. Even with my reading glasses on, that means I can barely read it. It’s a good start but needs more work.
I would like to see the blue book and red book eventually offered electronically within the app so I can follow along with the readings during a meeting.

Awesome Start - Keep Going
I am over the moon seeing this app come to fruition. Releasing an app that is perfect out of the chute is extremely difficult and unlikely without extensive paid testing. So, I don’t mind the issues I detected (for now): the pdfs are neither downloadable nor printable, and in some cases incomplete (for instance, “Sponsorship in CoDA” is missing a page), but I believe that is easy to remedy (unless copyright issues are the hitch).
It has been 12 years since I entered the 12-step rooms of CoDA and I believe that the 12-steps in general and CoDA specifically is what will “save” many from the emotional upheaval the reveals of 2025 are bound to cause.
Lastly, this app is designed for iPad so it isn’t going to be the same experience on either an iPhone or side-loaded onto a Mac.
My heartfelt gratitude to all those who made this happen.

Half baked at best
How do you release an app that is so riddled with bugs?
Every one of the “free downloadable” pamphlets is incomplete, all missing 3 of the 6 panels. The search for a meeting tool is just a link to the hideously slow website, which is also defective.
Try navigating back to the list after looking at a meeting’s details. If you can find the back button, you will find that it does NOT take you back. It takes you to a page selling a CoDA cruise, and encouraging you to download the very app you are using. I haven’t even bothered to investigate the rest.
I doubt this was created by volunteers. More likely CoDA continues to waste immense funds on some of the most incompetent developers on the planet.
I know that CoDA “may employ special workers.” I promise you the people who work on CoDA’s website and apps are not special at all.

PDFs are incomplete
Love the idea of this app and meeting finder does take you right to the coda.org search tool. I’d love to see the documents and downloadable parts fixed. When I open on my iPhone, I only get page one of whatever it is. Not helpful for use during a meeting if I can only see page one of the patterns or the front side of a pamphlet.
