Hey idiot consumers! Delete this app and stop rating it low! This app is for ticketing systems not you bargain shopping UPC code scanner folks. I've ran events for 7 years and this is the best value app I've found yet for scanning tickets for crowd control! Great job codereadr!

Just bought this app and using in to read barcodes on medical equipment that has been serviced. I'm using the questions and am no longer using paper to write things down on, just import the CSV file to my database. It has already saved me so much time

Perfect solution
This app is not created for scanning groceries at home or to find good deals in the supermarket.
This app is for scanning barcodes in your database and is perfect because is wireless. So if you have an event and the tickets you sold have a barcode you can know how many people you have inside, if somebody is trying to access with a fake ticket or if somebody is trying to acces using a validated ticket. (duplication error)

Die Anmeldung funktioniert bei schon nicht. Die App meldet ständig, dass meine E-Mail-Adresse schon mit eimem anderen Account verbunden wäre und dass der Nutzername schon in Benutzung wäre...

This works but you have to have a service to use. It sends the bar code to any program for validation.

Very good app
I'm not sure why this app has been rated so low. I think it is awesome. I'm using it to scan tickets created on my website and checking it against a custom database that I uploaded.
There are a few problems like when you delete a service it doesn't allow you to use that service name again and there may be a good reason for this but it certainly deserves more than one star.
I can't wait until the logo option is working for the iPhone!

Funktioniert nicht. Hab's mit unterschiedlichen 2D Barcodes getestet und mit keinem wurde etwas erkannt!!!

Problem
When I sign in it takes me to a section where I choose what service I want. However, there are no services to choose from. It does not work. The developer needs to make sure there are services there. I think it maybnot be compatible yet with the iPhone 4 and the iOS 4 software.
Useful for custom solutions.
This is not a scanner for checking store/book barcodes prices and product information. It has other uses, such as sending barcode outputs to your own server for processing. Thus, you might put codes on tickets or coupons, and then scan them into your own system to validate attendance or track usage. As such, it is very useful for developers who know something about CGI processing.

Exceeded expectations
After searching for a ticket scanning solution for my close friend's bar, I came accross codeREADr. We generated about 150 tickets, all with a unique QR code on them. We uploaded the values of these QR codes to our account, and scanned using my iPhone at the door. The tickets were validated quickly over my phone. This is a great solution for small businesses looking to handle tickets, just 10 bucks a month for a single scanner.

It is not scanning any product in my house, like foods, electronics with the barcode still on them. Can't log in, Nor have I received any email as well with a log in user name or password if that was to be sent to me or what?. WTH
