Absolutely no reason to pay via app
Min reload is $20, partial balance can’t be used. No loyalty rewards.
So confused
Multiple issues as of October ‘25
—> I ordered food that the restaurant said they do not sell in the app and they were unable to refund me.
—> there’s no option to get my order in a four here format, which is upsetting because I’m much prefer to have my food plated if I’m eating at Coffeebar.
—> I downloaded the app and loaded the card with money, assumption being that there would be some sort of loyalty program or offers for app users. Nope. Basically, there is no benefit to customers who load the card. I am just so confused as to why the in-app card payment method even exists.

Can’t use balance for partial payment
Be warned that if you add a cash balance to the app, and the balance is less than the cost of an item, there’s no way to partially pay with the app balance and cover the rest with a different payment method — either in-store or through the app. You can’t customize how much cash you add (the minimum is $20), so it’s almost guaranteed you’ll have extra balance that’s unusable unless you keep adding more money. There’s also no way to transfer your balance out of the app and back to your bank. Very obvious money grab to get you to keep adding cash.
