Don’t bother

Plenty of errors in sentence structure and logic. Trying to get the “correct” answer will only reinforce incorrect deduction skills in the children.

Hello! Cleaning up these older reviews, for anyone looking we are releasing Version 3.0 this week which will feature an update for 2025 content and a new training center that teaches each question type!

Not well developed

It is obvious the developers of this app are not English speakers. There are errors with the sentence completion section and the logic used to pair words is poor. Graphic layouts of figure sequence problems are unrefined and appear to be hastily put together. It is questionable whether the developers have the professional expertise to build an app properly suited to prepare children for any GT test. Use of the COGAT acronym in the app title is likely a trademark infringement.

Great App

My 7 y/o daughter really likes likes it. Great app for last minute review since she will be having her test in 7 days. I hope there is a way to double check the wrong answers. Go over to the questions with the right answer.

Does not align to the test

This app does NOT align to the format of the COGAT. I wanted to use it to help familiarize my child with the format of the test. The format of this app is different and confusing.

Some people think this game is HORIBLE but if ur lookin for something good this is it and those people are planking.

Don’t waste your money!

There were several errors and really confused my daughter rather than helping her. This is terrible with this being something to help kids and answers are incorrect and grammar is terrible in some of the questions.

Hey jrayh21, thanks for the feedback, check out our update posted this week v1.8 we've added in a guide mode for the hints and a new user profile screen to check progress. False advertising

The app description stated that the Math section has more than 400 questions in the bank. The entire app — all sections combined — has less than 200 questions. Bait and switch.

Hello and thanks for the feed back, our math section is composed of three sections, Number Analogies generates 18 questions at a time from an algorithm, to get another set of 18 questions simply exit the test and re-enter it. There are enough parameters int he algorithm to generate thousands of combinations. Number Puzzles generates 18 questions from a bank of 334 questions. To get a new set of questions just exit the test and re-enter it. The Number Series section presents 18 questions from a bank of 25. The Number Series were kept low and specifically selected to hit the highlights of what a student may expect to see on the COGAT ... such as the Fibonacci sequence. No solution manual
Not really cogat grade 2 level test
It doesn’t tell you what problem you missed after taking the test
It only give small pop up screen with how many problems you got it right or wrong

Hello and happy holidays, apologies for the very late response. Team Polemics just learned that we can respond to user reviews. Questions should flash red when you miss them and there is an additional delay before presenting the next question. This was a design decision to keep the test flowing rather than to present a hard stop and an additional button tap when question is missed. We will look to add a section end wrong question summary.
